When we gathered our spirit and strength (and money) for a long flight to Thailand, the question arose: where will we stay, in which hotel? I looked through the ripples in my eyes a lot of photos of the lucky ones who returned from Thailand and re-read as many reviews, until I came across a completely charming review of a married couple about the Dor Shada Hotel (Pattaya region) and a few photos that simply transferred my soul to the shores of the Gulf of Thailand and she got stuck in there. After that, I purposefully "overcooked" the photos of other tourists, looked at the hotel on a satellite map, looked at the hotel's website and finally made my choice. The daughter did not mind and ....now we are entering the territory of "Dor Shada". The entrance is decorated with two side towers, in front of them are oblong pools in which lotuses bloom - the picture immediately pleases the eye and sets you up for entering a "resting paradise". Basically, it turned out that way.
The staff - solid attention and completely unobtrusive, they immediately settled in the room, the bags were rolled on a trolley, they brought them into the room, along the way they explained what was located and where. The room is excellent, a lot of space and air, a panoramic window, a sliding door to the loggia, in the evenings with a glass in hand at a table in the air and overlooking the bay - it was great. The room has furniture stylized as old Thai, excellent beds and high-quality linens, (changed every three days) a huge "plasma" on the wall (but they only turned on a couple of times - it was not before), there is a mini-bar, tea and coffee things with a small electric kettle in addition and - every day two bottles of water, so I realized that one is issued per nose. There is a small safe, hidden in a closet in the wall, where bathrobes and slippers hang next to each other.
In the bathroom, you can turn around without fear of hitting your elbow against the wall or demolishing the mirror, there is a shower (compartment with a drain in the floor) behind a solid glass door, a bathroom, a convenient washbasin, etc. Every day cleaning, towels are changed in the same way, jars of cream are replenished for the body (they brought a couple home as a souvenir - it turned out to be a very cool thing! ), shampoo, gel, small soaps. Terry face wipes are beautifully folded in the basket - in general, the hotel has a lot of cute beautiful little things and original little bouquets, creating a festive mood ...Now about the food: breakfast in the hotel restaurant is an ordinary buffet with a fairly large selection, a lot of fresh fruit, it's easy great, great baked goods. The pool bar is a separate song, sitting in a chair in warm water and having a dessert or a cocktail (or you can order something to eat) is very good.

Moreover, the pool is stylized as a tropical river, the "shores" are planted with magnolias, palm trees, hibiscus and all kinds of greenery, magnolias bloomed and flowers fell into the water, they were caught with nets, but while the flowers were floating in the pool it looked very beautiful. By the way, in the pool there are sunbeds in the water for sunbathing, 4 jacuzzi nooks with mosaic benches, the crowns of trees converged overhead ("jungle"! ), then the "river" merges into a children's pool with a waterfall, and there, too, the bubbles entertain the kids floundering in shallow water. There is a restaurant on the beach - they cook excellent, very tasty. What is good about the hotel - a clean beach, clear water - far enough to Pattaya, the city dirt does not get. A minute walk from the beach chairs - a mini-market: fruits - eyes run wide, cheap, tasty, unusual. Yes, more fish, shrimp, octopus...
A little further along the beach there is a cafe, at first the heart will tremble, but the food is really very tasty, our guide was right when he recommended it. We had fun in the evening in Pattaya, getting from the hotel is not a problem, the duty officer will take you to the Sukkumvit highway in a couple of minutes (then the security will call the shuttle and in the opposite direction when you return, although walking these 300m is a pleasure), a passing tuk-tuk will take you 15-20 minutes to the city center, and there - as you like, take another route and to the embankment or stagger on "on foot". We were interested in seeing everything. Excursions were ordered only from our host ("Sayama-tour"), except that in Cambodia they were initially included from ours in Kyiv. We traveled a lot, we liked everything, only "mandatory" visits to factory stores are annoying, although it's still interesting, the pressure is far from Turkish ...
I really liked the boat trip with fishing, swimming on a desert island and feeding the monkeys on the island. Yes, what to say - every minute of vacation in Thailand brought pleasure! And Nong Nooch Park, and all the shows that got to - elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, dolphins (including transgender shows), and a safari park, like other tourists fed crocodiles, monkeys, fish, elephants, baby elephants and giraffes, getting a lot of pleasure for themselves and helping to save on feeding the owners of the parks. A two day trip to Cambodia is another story, it was just great to be back in your hotel room and find a bunch of roses on your bedside table...
It was sad to leave, but - with titanic efforts, stuffing what she had bought into a suitcase that suddenly became a small one, she was so carried away, running around him, that her favorite flip flops "slid" across the floor under the chest of drawers, and they were forgotten there ...

Now I hope for a popular sign: since I didn’t leave my shoes on purpose, so maybe my feet will once again be in the Dor Shada Hotel?
