To begin with, describing the hotel in detail does not make any sense:
1. If you go to pattaya for a beach holiday, then this is not the best choice for money
2. The excursion is so diverse that even for the most spoiled tourist who has seen everything, they will take an excursion somewhere to a new and interesting-unexplored type of ayutai or lost Laos, Singapore and Vietnam, in short, viol
3. Well, flying across the entire continent for 9 hours and then sitting in a room is nonsense!
Kyiv Boryspil, +4 snow, dampness, registration, plane, 8.5 hours flight and +35 sun, Thailand Bangkok, little Thais, (by the way, from March 5 to some June, the visa fee of 1 thousand bt was canceled! !! ) Sayama travel guide, orchid collar, minibus and in 2 hours we are in Pattaya.

The hotel is not big, but quite decent for 3 stars, the area is clean, the pool, micro ponds with fish, they have food everywhere in hotels for 3 points, except in trendy cool hotels... but we are in Thailand, and this is exotic (scrambled eggs, vegetables, fruits, toasts, jams, tea, coffee, sausages and ham - then we mix it to taste)... Information on recreation in Russian is available everywhere and newspapers and booklets and booklets, in short, you shouldn’t bother with information (near the reception there is a rack with a bunch of advertising - excursion info). 5 minutes at the reception again with a guide (no money) and the cherished key in hand, room on the 4th floor, no balconies, the room is small but clean, fresh linen, clean towels, everything works, two Russian TV channels, air conditioner which saves from heat that is resonant for the body (the only thing is a mysterious small spot of damp mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, which did not spoil the mood in any way). The first day we slept almost until lunch (by the way, we didn’t get used to the regime for 15 days, +5 hours of the belt). It’s better to wake up in the morning at 7 o’clock because of the ebb and flow, a light breakfast and the sea at our feet, we took sun loungers on the beach right across the road, agreed immediately for 40 bt for two. Everything that you forgot at home, buy essentials 25 meters from the hotel at 7 eleven (by the way, a cool network of minimarts has almost everything... ). The sea on Jomtien is dirty, but not so much that there is a port beach of Simferopol or Feodosia - you can swim without problems, just muddy water from the surf and a sandy bottom, and sometimes bags or dead fish swim after the night, but this is immediately removed by the holder of a piece of the beach selling a deck chair for you, a string of all kinds of souvenir-seafood-fruit-tattoo-sun-protective-textile-jewelry deals walk along the beach, the services of which you can politely refuse either by shaking your head or know senkyu, the maximum that we took on the beach is shrimp (100 bt 10 pcs ), and some fruits, everything else is too expensive and usually of poor quality, although bargaining is appropriate everywhere and always, even in stores with a price !!!! ! (I mean clothes of costume jewelry in shopping centers).
About money.
The dollar purchase rate is 35.6 bt - but to understand 100 bt = 27.5 UAH.
They took $1.000 with them for two for 14 days, enough for souvenirs, food and excursions, but if you go to one man and take a carrot, then you need to take more than 500-700 money.
About souvenirs.
In front of the park, non-gnuch were brought to Lukdot, they bought everything there almost at the beginning of the holiday.
About food.
Anywhere and everywhere, from solid restaurants to auto-moto-kitchen on wheels with mysterious food. In the morning you can catch at the hotel, for lunch, fruit and a “banana pancake” from the wheels (I recommend trying it), and in the evening something more substantial is already in the cafe, by the way, the hotel restaurant cooks pretty well, for the same money. We tried to overcome Thai cuisine - it’s pretty edible (don’t forget to say the magic word - KNOW SPICE), there are a lot of Russian taverns in the center and on Jomtien, but going to eat manti or kebab in Thailand is somehow not logical in my opinion. It’s better to try any something edible from seasonings in a plate first, otherwise you can grab such a sharp thing, it won’t seem like it...
About fruits.
As it turned out, almost all of them are available, both off-season and seasonal, watermelons with pineapples were given at the hotel, it makes no sense to buy, of those that I liked this mango, bananas and mangosteen (a round eggplant with a head of garlic inside, the taste is amazing), everything else is an amateur, we tried durian - frankly for an amateur, by the way, choose the mango only yourself so that it is soft, that you don’t ask for everything sweet and ripe, but you buy it, then like water, then green... if you’re not sure about something, take one for a sample if they don’t let you try, and then buy!
About the islands.

We didn’t go to ko-lan, as they explained to us, that the same beach, only the water is a little cleaner, but ko-chang is a tin!! ! As an excursion for 3 days 8 thousand bt per person. We traveled as savages (ordered a transfer in Jomtien from Malibu Travel for 2.400 thousand bt. for two back and forth) we arrived and took a tuk-tuk (by the way, it costs from 50 to 150 bt per face !! ! depending on where to go) and went to the fool where they would bring it - they brought it to Siam Beach, they said more or less, the beach is clean sand, well, of course, not the same as in the pictures, super white, but light gray, the sea is clear and blue, there is nothing special nearby, but there is something to see, A mask with fins can be rented right next to it. A bungalow costs 1.000 bt a night, but the conditions are primitive (if you search, you can find it in a more civilized way, we didn’t want to drag along the beaches), we didn’t like sleeping the night, we took a room in a two-story building for 2500 bt the second night - of course I’ll tell you the contrast, everything is like in a fairy tale , only two problems are salt water in the taps and there was no Russian channel on TV, this was compensated by breakfasts, the assortment is much better, plus yogurts with muesli almost Turkish 4, and by the way, on the beach there is a hotel cafe with prices much cheaper than in Pattaya...
About excursions.
Were free - Nong Nooch Park and a crocodile farm, if the first time a visit is required. We went to Kwai (only for the sake of riding elephants and feeding monkeys, you can already go 800 km) for 6 thousand. bt for two, we took the Chaika tour to be near the hotel seven eleven (the operator has 4.5 for one), the saturation depends on the company and the guide, everything else is +/- the same, we ourselves went to mini-Siam - in the evening, by the way, the pictures are cooler.
In Bangkok we were in the royal palace (not very impressed), the sky bike is 100% the right topic, the review is a bomb, and of course I’ll tell you the table will swing from the choice... the guide has 1500 for one - 200 meters from the hotel mu-mu tour - 1400 for two and no nails, the result is the same (by the way, when asked how their program differs from the others, they told me that there would be another worse restaurant (there are already three of them) in the end they were in the same as colleagues who did not want to take risks), went to the aquarium the entertainment of the process it is difficult to describe in words, but it is definitely worth going (the operator has 805 bt per face - in mu-mu 750 bt).
By the way, keep in mind that if you yourself go on any excursion, then its cost will be much higher, because. you are a farang, and when only a Thai guide takes them with a guide, I mean all entrances and views, for example, mini-siam if you yourself are 300 from the face, sky bike 1050, oceanarium 950...
About shopping.

I will not repeat the prices +/- the same, only in Bangkok there is a shopping center not far from the hotel, something like 5 floors of the Chinese rows of the Barabashov market in Kharkov, if you climb something you can pick up, and only on the last evening we wandered to some shopping center (there are simply not a real number of them in the center) not far from Paragon, three floors, clothes, although they don’t shine with super quality, but everything is 290 bt and the fabric is just like in expensive boutiques, and by the way, there are no Thai buyers measured, but there were no Europeans except us (they lowered the last hard-earned money on shirts and blouses).
Bangkok.
We lived in Bangkok Palace, a cool 4 * hotel, the food is a little better than in the dragon, the carpet in the room and the almost sterile cleanliness of linen and towels.
Instead of results - About impressions.
Thailand can be compared to the Crimea in organizing recreation, I am my own boss - I live where I want, I eat what I want, I walk where I want, no one bothers anyone, the first time it’s definitely worth going with an operator, and then it will be interesting to organize yourself vacation. During the entire stay, not a single disorder of the body and stomach. Sea +28, fruit almost for nothing, the cost of housing (even in comparison with the Crimea) is quite adequate, if you want an easy overnight stay, if you want V. I. P. apartments, yes easily for every taste and pocket. By the way, the 2 GB flash on the fotik is full of failure, so it makes sense to grab your mobile flash just in case of a fire.
I want to go there and for permanent residence...
