Rested in Thailand in October, chose this hotel based on the reviews. Pretty decent hotel to stay (provided you stay in the main building), good location, right on the beach, away from the noise and din. We got a room with a balcony overlooking the pool. Lived on the fourth floor, there is an elevator. The room is spacious, clean, cleaned daily, left every other day for 20 baht to the maid. From equipment-hair dryer, conder, plasma on the wall, electronic safe, everything worked. The beach is quite clean, when compared with the beaches in Pattaya, it is quite possible to swim and sunbathe. Sunbeds 30batt per day. Near a good infrastructure-shops, cafes, travel agency. A five-minute drive from the night market, it starts as soon as it gets dark. There you can buy fruits, sushi, meat, fish and seafood cooked on the grill quite inexpensively and so on. It takes about 15 minutes to go to the center by tuk tuk, the fare is 10 baht one way, the return trip is twice as expensive, since, as a rule, it does not reach the hotel, you have to transfer or walk. We went to swim on the islands, the nearest Koh Lan. How to get there - by tuk tuk you get to the center, then 5-7 minutes on foot through Walking Street to the pier, from where ferries go (one-way cost 30 baht). There are several beaches on Koh Lan, we liked Samae more, it is more comfortable and there are not as many people as on Tien beach, plus cheaper sunbeds (20-30batt)
Excursions were taken at the fresh tour agency, if you stand, leaving the hotel, facing the beach, then walk 3-4 minutes to the right, the girl's name is Natalia. We took Bangkok, Kwai (2 days) with a visit to the waterfall and elephant riding, Cambodia (2 days), Koh Samet (1 day). Reasonable prices, excellent service, cheaper than the guides. In Pattaya, we ourselves visited the Temple of Truth and Big Budda Hill, it's easy to get there. 90% of the souvenirs were bought in the Lukdod store - fixed prices, plus lower than everywhere else and a huge selection of everything (cosmetics, balms, leather goods, clothes and other souvenirs). The easiest way to get there is by taxi.
In general, I liked my vacation in Thailand, a good hotel, smiling Thais, a lot of impressions from what I saw. Stay positive and everything will be fine!
