The Garden Cliff Resort & Spa is brand new, opened only in December 2005, which is its main advantage. For some reason, our travel agencies give it only 4 stars ...In fact, the hotel is very good, five or more stars!

Our room was a corner one, with two huge balconies overlooking the sea and the amazing temple "Sanctuary of Truth". The room had a huge bathroom + shower, bathrobe with slippers, umbrellas (2 pcs) (we were during the rainy season, so umbrellas were just right), kettle, tea, coffee and cream (replenished as needed), drinking bottled water, air conditioning - central, with individual control (does not make noise, unlike individual air conditioners), on TV there were Russian, English, French, and Thai channels, hairdryer, mini-bar, etc. Local telephone calls from the room are very cheap.

Our price included only breakfast.

Many of my friends complained about the scarcity and monotony of breakfasts in Thailand, I did not notice this at all. The choice of dishes was large, for every taste, changed from time to time.

More helpful, smiling and friendly staff than in Thailand you will not find anywhere else! Everyone unequivocally adheres to the rule "the customer is always right. "

The hotel has its own beach, but it is small, only Russians swim in the sea, the rest in the pools. There is an upper and lower pool, in the lower there is a section with a Jacuzzi likeness. The territory is also small, but very ennobled, beautiful.

The hotel has its own tuk-tuks, 150-200 baht to the center. By the way, lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant is quite inexpensive (on average $20-15 for two).
