Dear tourists! Like us, you looked at this page to get information about the upcoming vacation. Naturally, it differs. Therefore, we will leave you to help our assessment and our impressions of the rest in Thailand.
First, we went to Tai during the so-called "rainy season". Citizens, in Moscow we were flooded much cooler. Real rain caught us only 3 times in 15 days, and even then it lasted no more than an hour. In Thailand, we got that piece of summer that we lacked in our native land.
In general, the country is amazing, original, amazing. Bangkok was our first stop. The first thing that impressed us was our luxury hotel and the amazing view of the city from the 35th floor. After a tiring flight, we rested and went on a Taximeter to conquer Bangkok (this is a local multi-colored taxi, a cheap and comfortable mode of transport, you just need to immediately ask the driver to turn on the meter to avoid price mark-ups at the end of the trip).

We went to the Baiyoke Sky Hotel, one of the tallest hotels in the world, from which you can see the city at night. We strongly advise you to arrive, like us, before sunset, to see the contrast of day and night. We booked a table in the lobby of the hotel (cost about 600-650 baht) and were not disappointed at all, dinner (buffet of Thai-Japanese-Chinese cuisine) was just amazing!
The next day we had an interesting tour of the temple buildings of the city. On this, our acquaintance with the city ended, and we went to conquer Pattaya.
The first impression of the hotel was negative (shabby furniture, ants crawling everywhere and a semi-basement where even the elevator does not reach). However, after changing the room and moving to the main building, the impression smoothed out, but for the future we would not choose this hotel. The nearby Zign looked much more attractive.
We note right away that those who go to Pattaya to swim heartily in the sea, it’s better to immediately go to the islands, because the sea in Pattaya is practically not suitable for swimming - dirty, not to mention the 50-centimeter jellyfish with which it is teeming.
However, even from Pattaya you can make an excursion to the islands, the closest and most accessible is Koh Lan (550 baht including transfer and lunch). minutes from the garden!! ! For the mass nature of the purchased services, we were given a decent discount on the River Kwai, do not be afraid of the guides talking at the hotel about the low-quality services of other agencies, believe the people who bought the ex. 2 or more times more expensive, but we were traveling on the same bus, it was a shame... People work in this place who speak Russian well and all the guides on the buses were Russian-speaking.
We highly recommend a trip to the River Kwai! As our new acquaintances from the excursion group, with whom we met the sunset on the porch of our house on stilts, said: "Kwai is a small life"! From myself we will add - exotic and saturated. This includes a floating market, elephant rides, rafting, radon baths, waterfalls and more.
I was also impressed by the visit to the island of Koh Lan, where we swam a lot.

We definitely advise you to visit the museum "I believe - I do not believe", the Room of fear and other entertainment located in a hotel in the center of Pattaya called Golden Garden Plaza. So you can spend one bright and emotional evening.
Moreover, we advise you to visit Minisiam, which contains mini-copies of all known world buildings; Nong Nooch, Alcazar or Tiffany show (bright unforgettable sight) and dinner at the Pattaya Park tower, as a bright end to a wonderful holiday!
We wish you good luck and no less vivid impressions!
Tatyana and Elena, 24 years old.
