So, the very first evening - a visit to the show of transvestites Alcazar. Everyone was expected, but this is just a good performance with beautiful costumes, music, light. Dances, songs, funny numbers, but nothing vulgar, if you didn’t know what kind of show it was, you would never have thought that these charming ladies might not be ladies at all. In general, I would like to note that Pattaya is a very peculiar city, it is enough to go for a walk on Walket Street once (a walking pedestrian street, where it is very crowded in the evening - numerous restaurants, souvenir shops, jewelry stores - and not only). In addition, there are so-called *discotheques* go-go, these are very spicy establishments, and in general it’s probably not a secret that in the city you can get all imaginable and unimaginable intimate services inexpensively. Well, in short, whoever came for what, he will find it. We observed 70-80-year-old half-dead old men, to the credit of our compatriots, it must be said that these are not Russians who dragged along the streets next to 14=16 year old Thai women. Nakm this type of entertainment is clearly not suitable, so I will write about what we saw. First, if you don't mind two days and $120, go to the River Kwai. Firstly, a completely different climate - fresh, amazing air, and secondly, you will spend the night on the river in the jungle, and how the frogs croak there, just a concert! Thirdly, ride through the jungle on elephants and generally communicate with them. By the way. we also visited the park, I don’t remember the name, like a zoo. The coolest thing was there - to catch a crocodile with a bait. They give you a stick with a hook, on which they put on a chicken carcass (which must be pre-purchased) and go! Crocodiles are not small, you are on a platform, the essence of fishing is not to let the crocodile eat the chicken for as long as possible, because this colossus jumps out of the water after the chicken so that it takes your breath away. Screams, delight, drive!
I also advise you to visit the world-famous orchid park in Pattaya, be sure to watch the elephant show there - just lovely, especially the kids! True, the trainers stab them there with some kind of sharp dryuchki, but I hope they were not very hurt. Do not regret it, buy them bananas - they love it very much. You can not take an excursion to the park, any driver will take you and help you buy tickets.
As for food, there are just a lot of small restaurants and cafes with excellent seafood in the city, the prices for which, compared to ours, are simply ridiculous and the quality is not subject to criticism at all. I personally just overate king prawns in batter - the portions are huge, and freshly squeezed juices were prepared in front of me from all sorts of local fruits, which are also a huge amount. By the way, not far from the hotel on the main street of the city there is a small market where all this beauty can be bought inexpensively. By the way, for a laugh, my husband bought a Rolex there for $ 50 - then he gave it to his friend - the watch still runs.

There is an interesting souvenir shop in the city - in principle, everyone is taken there on excursions - and so there are a variety of good and cheap souvenirs - from stingray, elephant, crocodile skin to carved wood crafts, fans, etc. So I advise.
In general, the city is ambiguous, everyone finds something interesting there for themselves, it all depends on the purpose of the trip.
