We were in Garden Sea View 4 * with my husband on a honeymoon trip in early August 2010. I have been working in tourism for the 3rd year, when choosing a hotel, I relied on a relatively clean beach (as far as it is possible for Pattaya), beautiful territory and a large pool. Everything I wanted I got! The hotel is very good!!!
Of course, I won’t write super duper and so on, I’ve seen a lot of deluxe hotels, there is something to compare with, but for our vacation I chose Garden Sea View 4 * I don’t regret anything at all! the hotel is very good for its price, the beach is gorgeous for Pattaya. The hotel fully met all expectations.
BEACH: Nice, very clean, sandy entrance to the sea. All the pebbles that the tide brings to the shore are regularly cleaned by the hotel staff with a rake. Sunbeds on the beach for free (of a very exotic look), the sea was clean the whole holiday, not even a single package swam! We met the guys who lived in a hotel in the center of Pattaya. When they told them about our clean beach, they did not believe)))
FOOD: Breakfast. Everything is decent enough, every day is different. They fry eggs, toast, eat salads, rice, sausages, of course, where without them))) Local delicious ham, In general, they fed well !!!
SERVICE: Well… It could have been better, although somehow I didn't go for it. ROOMS: About booking, I made a note that we were newlyweds, so the hotel not only did not provide us with any compliments at all (well, God bless him), so they settled in an empty hotel overlooking the parking lot at the entrance to the hotel! A piece of the sea was visible in the distance, the room itself is good. They refused to change our room even for money. Again, the hotel was empty!
On the 4th day, they offered to check into the Chalet (it's a bungalow). I went and looked at some chalet. . . I don't understand why it costs more. . . In general, a dungeon. . . Dampness, the rooms have not been restored. Our room itself was brand new, the TV was healthy, flat, the bed was a double bed. Exactly the same rooms (only with sea views) in the second new building. In general, they did not move, they decided to endure the view of the road. But they endured it only because they rested for only a week (at the time when they offered a replacement, we had 2 nights to rest and we had to spend one of them on an excursion on the River Kwai). If there were more days, we would have moved to the second building.
The room has a bath, bath accessories (soap, shampoos), no hair dryer. Mini bar: 2 bottles of water are replenished every day for free (0.5 per person), everything else (and there is a lot of everything) is paid.
INFRASTRUCTURE: 2 swimming pools one inside the other you could say. One overflows into the other in general. There are places to swim, bridges, islands in the pool, in general it is beautiful. There are a lot of palm trees, very exotic, we didn’t go far across the territory, but there are also places to wander around, although it was empty in the low season.
There are a lot of sunbeds by the pool, there is enough for everyone, though I'm afraid on the beach if there are a lot of people there may not be enough sunbeds for everyone.
LOCATION: decently north from the center. By taxi for 100 baht you can get to the center, by tuk tuk for 10 baht per person.
