Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For recreation with friends, for young people
Good afternoon, to all those who are going to or have already returned from such a wonderful country as Thailand. I want to share my impressions of the Grand Jomtien Palace Hotel, since the choice for this hotel fell due to such good reviews that I found on the net, I want people not to repeat my mistake. This is not my first time in Pattaya and believe me, I have something to compare with. In general, the hotel disappointed us completely and there is no desire to return to it. I'll start with the advantages of the hotel - there are not so many of them! The hotel is large enough, located on the first line from the sea in a fairly clean and beautiful place, there is no beach of its own, but there is a public beach within walking distance! The hotel consists of a main building (I will talk about it) and a chalet, the hotel has three swimming pools one next to the chalet (very small, no one bathes in it. . . ) the second one is on the fourth floor of the main building and the third is large, directly where all vacationers flock to...... All rooms have a sea view, the view is quite beautiful!! ! ! ! I guess that's where the positives end. . .
I will state everything in order, so as not to miss anything. In general, we lived on the 10th floor of the main building, corner number 1027, the furniture is old, worn out, the parquet is all scratched on the floor, the paint on the walls is peeling off in some places, but this was skillfully masked by paintings. )))) When I went into the bathroom, then I was shocked - the entire ceiling was covered with mold and stains from water, the tiles, which were originally conceived as cream, now turned yellow-brown from dirt, there was limescale on the plumbing. It was evident that no one even thought about cleaning the tiles..... Further - worse every day there were more and more disappointments..... In the room they don’t give slippers or bathrobes..... there is a TV, but you can watch it not possible due to poor signal reception, ants live in the room and you can’t leave anything on the table - everyone will eat it. Separately, I want to say about the cleaners - they clean every day, but very superficially, in sight and every day they forgot to put something, then bath towels, then pool towels, then napkins..... I had to run after them in the evening and explain that we need, of course they don’t know English and we spoke with gestures....Bed linen with holes, and gray towels..... I’ll say a few words about breakfasts - I didn’t see such a meager choice even in Chinese 3 stars, someone wrote in a review about the abundance of food? Guys, you are apparently in Tae for the first time and you have nothing to compare with..... every day there are only sausages and rice, sometimes fish or chicken. From vegetables, dry cucumbers, cabbage, sometimes grated carrots..... At the expense of fruits - in general - watermelon and green pineapple....No, you won’t die of hunger, but you won’t feel much joy either!
Near the hotel there is a temple and at night the manakhs at 3-4 in the morning began to hammer the bell and sing songs, waking up all the guests, no one responds to complaints.

We heard from the guests that theft flourishes in hotels..... though nothing was stolen from us, all valuables were kept in a safe. By the way, now the hotels have started repairing the hall and the first floor is closed, they went to the elevators through the second floor, in general, a madhouse. You can list endlessly....Decide for yourself....according to the price list of the hotel, the cost of one day's stay is 2300 without lunch - the cheapest room for that kind of money..... such a disgusting quality. All in all, I don't recommend it to anyone.
