They were going to Thailand seriously: they studied hotels, prices, possible excursions for six months. We were not mistaken with the hotel - for the minimum price (we took vouchers through Tourskidki) we got a clean spacious room, delicious plentiful breakfasts and a quite tolerable beach.
The hotel itself is very decent: no luxury, but everything you need is there, Thai service: friendly, but unhurried, everything is clean and comfortable. Very good pools: beautifully shaped, immersed in greenery. In addition, there is a nice pool on the 4th floor of the main building, but there was simply no time to go there... The beach in Jomtien is much cleaner than in the center of Pattaya, so there was no need to travel to the islands often, there was only one on the island once.
Yes, I was also pleasantly surprised by the dinner at the hotel on Catholic Christmas: I have never seen such hospitality and a rich table even in Turkey and Egypt. But the main impressions of Thailand are not the hotel, but endless excursions, stunning nature and unusual exoticism, which manifests itself in everything: in food, in the behavior of the inhabitants - it can be listed for a very long time.

As for excursions: you definitely need to go to the River Kwai, you can even not go anywhere else, but it is simply necessary there. With the saturation of the program, the excursion is transferred very easily, two days fly by in bliss. At the same time, the whole essence of southern Thailand is revealed: fruit plantations, salt lakes, elephants and monkeys, the majestic Kwai River and radon springs.
I wish you a pleasant and exciting holiday in Thailand!
