I visited this hotel with my husband and friends in December 2010. Before that, I read a lot of reviews and got completely confused, so I want to share my impressions.
About the hotel. It has one big minus - the pool is open until 18 o'clock, although Pegasus says in the advertisement that it is up to 20, so if you want to sit around the pool in the evening, it will not work. The rooms are very large, clean enough, cleaned every day, although we did not leave any tips. Of course, the carpet is quite dirty and burnt in places, but not so much that it spoils the rest. Plumbing is not the newest, but within reason. We had a safe in room (1116), but judging by the reviews, there are not many such rooms. Our friends, they lived on the 9th floor, there was no safe. No bugs, cockroaches and other things were not bothered by us or our friends. The hotel is very nice and its biggest plus is the location. Everything is nearby - the sea, and shopping, and the laundress, and massages. Things on the crossbar near the window dried in one fell swoop.
The breakfasts were perfect for us. An omelet with vegetables, which a smiling Thai woman makes - a delicious meal, I could not repeat this at home. In addition, there is a fairly large selection of all sorts of dishes, vegetables, fruits, sauces, tea, coffee. Those who write about monotonous breakfasts, in my opinion, are just showing off, because at home they consume coffee with a sandwich at best and consider it a variety.
The sea is nearby, through the wasteland 2 minutes. There was no mud in the sea for the whole vacation, once after the wind 2 palm leaves floated and the sand lifted from the bottom. As everyone went to the islands, I can’t say that the sea is much cleaner there, the wave is higher, deeper, yes, but not much cleaner.
In general, I liked the hotel, Thailand, and the rest 100%. And whoever writes badly about him simply does not know how to relax. This year I am going there with my daughter and mother, I hope that I will like it again.
