We are in Thailand for the first time. I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has already written reviews about this country here, I read a lot of useful and interesting things, your advice helped a lot : ) so, Ilves met us. upon arrival, they hung orchids around their necks, gave them bags for money and documents, and local SIM cards. Nice. but that was the end of their work. or maybe we were just unlucky with the hotel guide (Katya's name is) a cutesy girl whom we saw on the day of arrival (when she tried to foist excursions at heavenly prices on us) and on the day of departure ...Hotel. I really liked the hotel, everything is brand new, clean, the staff does not stop bowing, they clean and change bedding and towels every day! We unknowingly left cookies on the table on the first day, of course, when we returned, everything around was covered in ants ...but this is not a minus of the hotel, ants are everywhere in Tae.
they asked the maid, she sprinkled everything with some kind of thing and there were no more of them (naturally after that all the food was immediately put into the refrigerator))) by the way, don’t listen to the nonsense about the fact that the maids steal the minibar and then make you pay ...people advise you to remove all a minibar in a package and somewhere under lock and key ...But what kind of rest is this if you poke cola from the staff ?? ? and also we constantly left cameras, cameras and cell phones in the room and no problems! this hotel values its reputation and there is nothing to worry about : ) the breakfasts were just great, just in abundance! for every taste and appetite! The territory is really small but very clean and comfortable, beautiful pools. The beach is small for such a hotel, sunbeds have to be borrowed early, but it didn’t bother me. Do not believe those who say that Pattaya is a garbage dump! In the center - maybe, but we had a 10-minute drive to the north, the sea was clean, the sand was just wonderful!
I don’t understand how you can advise people to live in the center? Close to clubs? You are at sea! Don't you have clubs at home? In the center, all the hotels are across the road from the sea, and there is a large road clogged with cars, the air is polluted, everyone and sundry roam along the beach, that's where the dirt is! and from our hotel to any point in Pattaya 10-15 minutes by tuk-tuk (especially if you travel with a company, as we get even cheaper), but the sea is clean and quiet at night! Yes, here's another thing, recently this always safe country has earned a bad reputation: rushing on bikes ripping out bags, tearing off chains and earrings in tuk-tuks. so advice: leave all the gold at home, you don’t need it there, there’s no one to show off : ) if possible, take a backpack, if not, then carry the bag over your shoulder and on the other side of the roadway. If you follow these simple rules, then everything will be fine, don't be afraid : ) so, what else...excursions.

Like I said, don't buy anything from Ilves. their prices are much higher even than those of the tour and Pegasus. if you are afraid of street agencies, then buy at least from the same peges. in general, the agency opposite the hotel never let us down (we took several excursions from them) and the prices are quite reasonable. I think that it was possible to find even cheaper somewhere in the center, but we were quite satisfied with this price, so we didn’t bother, but you can always ask around in different places and choose what you like. We went on a sightseeing tour, which is included in the price of the tour, we liked only the observation deck. were still in Nong Nooch, I was expecting more, but still liked it, go. went to tiffany. the costumes are of course simply chic, otherwise everything is primitive. but they are great fellows, their energy is something like that, in short, we also liked it. were not on the islands and in Bangkok, they just did not have time physically, they left it for the next time.
but as compensation, without an excursion, we went to the oceanarium and to the high-rise of the Pattaya Park hotel. We were all adults and we really liked the oceanarium, and the children there are generally in seventh heaven. Indeed, there is something to see. In the evenings on the high-rise Pattaya Park buffet and they say it’s not bad, and even the restaurant is spinning. But we were there during the day, so we went up to the 55th floor, looked around, and went to 56. There is an open area, the beauty is indescribable. and the beauty of visiting this place during the day is that you can go down from the 56th floor not by elevator, but directly from the roof down in three different ways, depending on the adrenaline you need : ))) you will be there, you will see everything yourself, I can only say that there are a lot of emotions!
In general, the hotel is very good, I recommend it to everyone, but the rest in general is simply unforgettable! You can really come back to Tai again and again, which I really hope for!
; ) if anything - ask, I will answer, but the main thing do not forget that the key to a good rest is a positive mood and a friendly attitude! Have a good rest in the land of smiles, elephants and orchids! : )
