Much has been written about the hotel. We liked everything. We lived on the 15th floor of the corner with two balconies: stunning views of the sea from different sides, and the city. Upon check-in, 2000 baht was taken, at the end they were returned ($ 100 was immediately changed at the airport). There were no problems at all. A set of everything (towels, etc. ) was for 2, there are three of us (me, husband and son 13 years old). They asked at the reception, the next day they brought everything. To facilitate communication, there is a Russian-speaking girl, plus a hotel guide Ivan from Biblio Globus (quickly solved all issues, smart guy).
All excursions were bought from the same Biblio Globus, the price is the same as in street agencies. Well, maybe 100 rubles more. But this is such a trifle, and then we bought 6 excursions, they gave us a 5% discount. I'm not campaigning for anyone, everyone decides where to buy excursions. But you have to go to them. Were in Thailand for the first time - a lot of positive impressions.
The sea at the hotel is visually clean (i. e. nothing floats, the sand is white), but the smell of sewerage is still the same. We swam on the first day and did not dare again. Came in the evening from excursions and swam in the pool.

After reading the last review, a few more words. Cleaned well and every day, bed linen changed every 3 days. We really liked the food and service at Aroe. The deposit of 2000 baht returned on the last day was easily spent at the airport (everything in duty free is for baht, prices too).
How many people, so many opinions!
One thing is for sure, you should definitely go to Thailand! But, in my opinion, no small children with you. And so much did not have time to see in 11 days!
