Good afternoon!
We visited Asia for the first time in November 2011. and only now, before the second trip, got around to write a review.
About everything in order:
- flight - flew then Aerosvit (direct flight) 9.5 hours. to Tai and 10.5 back. Yes, it’s hard, but if you tune in for a long flight, then in general it’s nothing (but it was easier to fly to Tai - they flew to the setting sun, most of them slept (you can’t deceive the biorhythms);

- the hotel is a normal hotel! The curtain was a little torn in the room and the plumbing was not new, but we did not pay attention to this - this is not at home. In general, we didn’t go there to look for flaws, but to get positive emotions. Air conditioning is good, individual. There is a balcony (take care of the rope and clothespins at home). Cleaned every day, and so we have never run across the staff. The bed was changed 2 times. Left a tip 1 time. In the room every day for 0.5 liters. water per person and tea-coffee-sugar bags. Water is quite enough - they brushed her teeth, drank and took her on excursions. We checked into the hotel at about 7 am and were already settled at 9. A gift from the hotel - a voucher for a free cocktail or juice. The food is good - there was enough fruit, they have very tasty bread and rolls. We walked from the hotel to the main street, and from there we went by tuk-tuk to Volkin Street (travel 10 baht per person). We did not observe any living creatures in the room, and in general we only spent the night there;
- The sea is warm and clean. Yes, not Red, but clean. In the morning it is transparent, and after a few hours it is cloudy due to the suspension of sand. We did not see any bottles and packages, marine reptiles in the sea. The beach is small, there are enough sun loungers (since they didn’t run at 7 in the morning to take a sun lounger, they lay down near the pool). Beach towels are clean and plentiful. No midges;
- fruits - head dump. My opinion - do not listen to anyone - you need to try everything (especially since it's all very inexpensive: a large pineapple (they ate together) is peeled in front of you, the price is $ 1. I highly recommend tangerine juice is a feature of Pattaya (only they dilute it with sugar syrup, if you are pressured in front of you, ask to just squeeze out the lime juice. ) Papaya is very good for the liver, coconut juice is delicious, refreshing (brown coconuts due to heat treatment, the taste of the juice is the same, but the smell of the bounty);
- food - no intestinal troubles happened for 2 weeks. We didn’t eat from macarons (only roti (pancakes with filling). We ate at a cafe near the hotel (I don’t remember what it’s called - if you stand facing 7/11 on the right, it’s on the left. Red Ant cafe (sort of) when we arrived it was closed, let’s go to the right and never regretted. More than 250 baht for 2 never worked out (only this is without alcohol. ) Also, if sushi in Tesco (shopping center) who did with us - 10 baht a piece - overeating;
- excursions - were on the panoramic view of Pattaya, the river Kwai (Thais say that if you have not been to the north, you have not seen Thailand, this is where colorful Asia is visible), Cambodia, Nong Nooch tropical garden (if you like orchids, you definitely go there. Bangkok From all excursions where positive impressions and 2 flash drives of photos. And no money is a pity!!!! Excursions were taken from their tour operator (Tez tour) - the quality and service are excellent.

The review turned out to be long, but I hope it will be useful to someone (I myself was looking for information before the trip). Soon we are going for the second time - you know, I was not drawn to any country as much as to Thailand. The impressions are amazing and have not faded for more than a year.
But just do I'll tell you - what will be the rest depends ONLY on you - if you look for cons, look for packages in the sea. rubbish on the streets and cockroaches in the corners - you won't like it anywhere.
