I liked the hotel: clean, comfortable, I got an excellent room - a suite overlooking the pool and the sea, a large loggia. Everything electrical works, excellent air conditioning, powerful, quiet, well regulated. Cleaning daily with change of linen and towels, linen is clean, good quality. Left 2 times for 20 baht, but this is not necessary. There was no theft in the hotel during the stay. Money and documents were kept in a safe at the reception. A few days before our arrival, they began to take a deposit upon check-in - 1000 baht per room, they gave it back at check-out, but the flight was early, there was nowhere to spend it, I had to buy some kind of nonsense in the airport dutik. Breakfasts are varied: European traditional (sausage, sausage, scrambled eggs, croutons, butter, jam) and many Thai dishes - cooked very well, even soups (very tasty), the Thai menu changed mostly daily, from fruits - watermelons and pineapples, very I liked the coffee with cream. The pool is excellent: open around the clock, large, comfortable, illuminated underwater in the evening. There are always free sun loungers. Vacationers in the hotel are mostly compatriots, but they are very calm and decent, they didn’t create noise, mostly middle-aged families. Young people are more interested in the center - there is a rich night life, but it is very noisy. From the hotel on a tuk-tuk, which can be stopped right at the exit, to the pedestrian Walking Street (very center) without traffic jams reached in 10 minutes. Excursions were ordered to a tour company opposite the hotel - Thai Tanya, she speaks good Russian (she lived in Khabarovsk), a decent and sociable woman, she solved many problems of Russian tourists (which the guides categorically did not do), explained the map of the city, took her neighbor to the hospital and even paid for the dressing (there was an injury). On the eve of the next excursion, the husband fell ill - he immediately returned the full cost (in such cases, our tour operators do not return the entire cost of vouchers and not immediately). Thai massage - a must, excellent effect - both restorative and for various musculoskeletal problems. Phone SIM cards "happy" are sold in convenience stores "7-eleven", they cost 49 baht, but you immediately need to put 60 baht on them, the cost of calls with Russia is a few baht per minute, but with Europe it turned out very expensive - about a dollar a minute. When buying, the seller himself will insert a SIM card and replenish the account on the phone. I really liked the Thai cuisine at the macarons - we tried many different dishes - very tasty, cheap, unusual; no one had any unpleasant consequences, which cannot be said about food on excursions: apparently, everything is put on stream there, as in our catering - the rest is taken out again, but in such heat everything deteriorates instantly; there were several very serious poisonings in the hotel after such a diet: with intoxication, high fever and all the characteristic symptoms. I do not advise you to go to Samet Island - a hard road, the sea is as dirty as in Pattaya, and the food in the restaurant is not safe. The only tour that had to be cancelled. The rest are amazing, everything is wonderfully organized, scheduled to the minute, very saturated; transport was not expected anywhere. English is poorly understood in the hotel, the more literate you speak, the worse; my husband knows a few words in English, but he was understood there much better than me with a good conversational level. Shopping did not cause enthusiasm: there are large stores (2 festival "), by the type of boutiques - prices are European, but the quality is Thai; as in the market, where the same rags are very cheap. Thais do not know how to sew at all, although the materials are natural. T-shirts and jeans can be buy decent and cheap. On arrival, the guide immediately offers to take him to a new souvenir shop for free - (he gets a profit for this), for tourists - "divorce" - all things are several times more expensive than in other places, but since the prices are still you don't know, people buy all sorts of nonsense. It's worth a free (at the expense of the store) trip to the Vovan store - there are decent leather goods, good textiles and "no divorce. " One of the Russian TV channels broadcasts information about such free transfers from the hotel , with phones. On April 17, the New Year was celebrated in Pattaya - an amazing action, the streets are blocked, continuous traffic jams, all the people on the streets, barrels of water around, water hoses, water guns, every few steps you are poured with cheerful smiles, smeared with colored clay, the sensations are unusual, but very funny. Impressions from the trip are very bright and positive. I really want to go back there.
