Only our tourist can buy a standard room, and not check with the tour operator (on the Internet) what is included in the package. Arriving - they are surprised - but, in fact, where is the bathroom? Everything has long been known - in Thailand there is no "star" classification of hotels, so you need to choose your home very, very carefully. So I, having promised my wife a December week among palm trees and pineapples, searched for the right hotel for a long time and tediously. Main criteria:
1. Bungalow type (not skyscrapers)
2. Average distance from the center

The room was taken by the superior, which fully met our needs. At the same time, our friends were resting in the same hotel, so I saw the superior room close up - a rather large room ~ 18 sq. LCD TV with cable, air conditioning (a bit noisy) awesome balcony overlooking the courtyard (beautiful view) and so on. Since we arrived at the hotel at 10 am, and check-in at 14.

00, we spent all this time sitting with friends in superior. By 2 pm I went to the reception and asked the local room manager (Amton) for a better room, to which I was surprised to receive keys labeled Deluxe. Which, of course, is a class above the superior. But once again - the superior is also quite good. So there were no problems with housing - cleaning 5+, change of linen 5+, updating the bar - in a timely manner, 2 bottles of water per day - for free. Maybe our tourists simply cannot understand that 20-40 baht left on the telephone table significantly stimulates the staff? Guys, it's customary to tip all over the world! Personally, I left 40 baht. As for theft - nothing was missing from the room!
Of the significant pluses - having got to the bottom of the staff at the reception, I set up Wi-Fi on the beech, which I was incredibly happy about - for the work ...The Internet, of course, is free. Since the room was not far from the reception, he also worked in the room.
Now for breakfast:
Eggs, rice, sausages, toast, pineapples, watermelons, juice, coffee, milk, jam, local spicy dish (I'm a big fan), local changes every day. I just can not understand - what of this can be so annoying? !
As for food in the nearest cafes - I don’t know, I couldn’t spend less than 800 baht for two ...But on the street you can buy fried chicken or pork - easily - chicken 40 baht, pork 80, fried shrimp are expensive - 100 baht for 8 pieces . Well, fruit is an abundance, on the street for 100 baht you can buy a lot of different fruits (for a snack - very good: ) ). Well, as for alcohol - I tried the local "rum" Sang Som - a bottle of 0.7 ~ 200 baht (this is at 7 eleven) - a very good drink.
And the last - about the sea.
I did not swim in the sea near the hotel (I swam in the pool). Traveled with his wife to the island of Koh Lan.
Getting there is very simple - a taxi (individually negotiate with a tuktuk) - 100-150 baht, to the pier, you just need to tell him - Ko Lan, he was taken directly to the boat, the boat - 150 baht per person round trip. Goes from 9.00 - every hour. Travel time is an hour. The boats leave from 14.00, so you need to keep the ticket. Personally, I did not stay later than 14.00 - it was inferno - simply impossible. Back near the boat, there are also tuktuks - but there is already travel - 20 baht.
P. S.
It is better to take food and beer at 7 eleven - everything is very expensive on Koh Lan. And in no case do not take souvenirs there - you will take everything in Look Dota (you will see advertisements on the local TV; ), everything is much cheaper there. I won’t say more - otherwise you’ll think - advertising : )
P. P. S

The hotel is good - quiet, service is good, breakfast is decent. No need to take a standard number!
