I read a lot on the forums that Pattaya is a dirty city and dirty beaches, noisy, etc. But with 100% certainty I can assure you that this is not so. For example, at the Pinnacle Hotel where we lived, everything was very even at the highest level. The first thing that caught our eye during check-in was the huge territory of the hotel and its design, a very green hotel, its own beach, comfortable sunbeds with umbrellas, 2 swimming pools and 1 pool for children, a large area of ​ ​ green clean lawns where children can run and play will. Good breakfasts, friendly staff, cleanliness of the rooms and, most importantly, silence, which we all sometimes lack. In the mornings, an unforgettable impression is left by the moment when you go out for breakfast or to the beach in the morning, and birds sing like an orchestra throughout the hotel (I already said that the hotel is very green) Yes, of course, on the first day we felt inconvenience from the location of the hotel t. At first glance, it seemed to us that there were not even shops nearby, but after a morning walk on the second day in the vicinity of the hotel, our anxiety dissipated. If you leave the hotel restaurant and go to the beach turning to the right you will see that its glass restaurant is called "The Glass Hous" - a very beautiful and romantic place, great music in the evenings. The service is the same top class, the design of the restaurant is very beautiful, various European-style sculptures, the restaurant is completely white, but the prices are, of course, very high there. And if you turn left along the asphalt path from this restaurant, there will be bungalow-type houses on the right side, and there will be a construction site on the left (maybe it has already ended), so after walking literally two meters near one of these houses they sell fresh fruit ( we ate them during the rest) the first time we went to buy fruit there, an elderly Thai woman even fed us a durian for free (after all, Thais are friendly people) there is a nondescript Thai cafe next to these fruits. We took a chance and ate there (because the Pegasus employees, while still on the transfer from the airport to Pattaya, intimidated us so that on the first day we were afraid to leave the hotel, saying that we would be robbed, poisoned, children kidnapped, well, this is another story) In general, this cafe is gorgeous They cook their national dishes deliciously, very large portions and very cheap, and then we went there and bought beer from them for the price, like in a store, that is, there is no such thing that they see that we are tourists and let's say a double price. And in general, what can we talk about if there coffee costs only 20 baht !!!!!! . Go further along this asphalt path and at the first intersection turn left, go straight for 300 meters and here is our Pinnacle, or rather the hotel restaurant on the left and the pool on the right. If you want to buy ice cream or something else from the store, exit the hotel reception and turn left, go right under the bridge (this is the hotel bridge across the road to go to other buildings) and on the right side there will be a Thai shop there for you and ice cream and everything else. Getting from the hotel to the Lotus hypermarket, Outlet Mall and visiting the famous night market was also very easy. Leave the restaurant on the left, reach the first crossroads, turn right on it and go along the asphalt path to the street. Sukhumvit catch a white tuk-tuk for 20 baht per person and literally in 10-15 minutes on the right side of all these shopping centers. It is also very easy to get back, cross the road from Lotus, also catch a tuk-tuk, and in order not to drive a turn to your hotel, be guided by the sign of the glass restaurant "The Glass House" on the way back, it will be on your left. In general, we are very pleased that we got to this hotel. A chic place for complete relaxation, especially for those who go on vacation with children. And one more piece of advice if you decide to go to Thailand from the currency, choose the euro, because the exchange rate for it in Thailand is stable, but the dollar jumps up and down like crazy.
