We rested at the hotel from February 23 to March 04.2012. The hotel is very good in itself - a large beautiful well-groomed area, everything is buried in greenery and flowers, birds sing. There are no complaints about service, cleaning, accommodation. Breakfast for 5 plus. The hotel has one serious drawback - an extremely unfortunate location with all the ensuing consequences. To get to the city and back, for example, on independent excursions (Oceanarium, Mini Siam), to Big C and Tesco Lotus stores, you will have to take a taxi, which will cost 400-500 rubles round-trip for two at least in the daytime, less in the evening than for 300 back no one is lucky. In principle, you can also get to the city by tuk-tuk (40 rubles for two), which we did on the first day, having read positive reviews. Until we reached Sukumvit 15 minutes along a hot dusty road with scurrying vehicles, pipes, a working excavator, around a swamp where we saw a snake, then we ran into a pack of stray dogs - they swore off independent trips. You can also return economically by tuk-tuk. But this is also in principle, because pay special attention to where you will cross the road to the hotel, because the road is divided by a dividing strip with a ditch, and there is no traffic light in the next 500 meters from the turn to Pinnacle. So don't tempt fate, take a taxi. And for those excursions that you will purchase at the tour agency, as well as to Vovan, Lukdod stores, jewelry factories, transvestite shows, you will be picked up and brought in your own transport. Based on this location of the hotel, you don’t have to choose where to dine too much. And in general, the claim is no longer to the hotel, which, as already noted, is very good in itself, but to Pattaya itself - a very dirty sea and beaches. That's horrible. And the hotel itself is located between two stinky rivers. After the sea, the black swimsuit was either from mud or silt. Bags, bottles, all kinds of garbage float in the water. The beach near the hotel is more or less clean, and 20 meters from the hotel, if you want to walk along the beach, just a garbage dump. In general, darkness, and we went there for warmth, sun and, most importantly, the sea. We are no longer in Pattaya. And yet, if you decide to go to Pattaya and, like me, choose between Pinnacle and, for example, Botani, my unequivocal advice is Botani, Ravindra or Dor Shada. We went there on purpose, on foot along the beach, compared - it’s really cleaner there, both the beach and the sea. In general, I do not advise overseas to go to Pattaya.
