The weather was very upsetting, according to the Thais, it is not typical for this time of year, there were only four sunny days during our vacation. The hotel is just a fairy tale. Silence and peace. A lot of greenery. The territory is not big, but it is enough. Great room (we had a superior). Cleaned up perfectly, one day they even brought fruit to the room. Good breakfasts, quite varied, but each one is the same and in the same place, so it gets boring quickly. The hotel has excellent pools, in sufficient quantity. Many tourists swam even at night, but they repeatedly saw how security with flashlights asked vacationers to leave the pool, so if you really wanted to swim at night, it is possible, just trying not to make too much noise. : ) The hotel has a nice beach with palm trees, there was nowhere else such beauty nearby. We swam in the sea near the hotel several times, all the time there was a warning about jellyfish. There really were a lot. I read in reviews that you can’t eat on the hotel’s beach what was not bought at the hotel, in fact, a lot of people walked along the beach towards the ambasabora, there are several tents with fruit. Everyone eats fruit, drinks beer bought not at the hotel, and no one said anything. We often ordered to eat in the room closer to the night, everything was very tasty, huge portions, the average bill for two was 400 baht, the money was taken from the deposit. And if you take drinks at the bar, then they do not accept payment from the deposit. It is very convenient that you can always drive from the hotel entrance to the road for free by electric car (but they are very happy with tips), if you are too lazy to go from the road to the hotel, then you just have to tell the security guard a car will come for you right away. Before going to bed, they bring cookies to the room with the inscription sweet sleep, a trifle but nice. We rode water bikes (they are on the beach towards the Ambassador) small 10 min 1000 baht, large 10 min 1500 baht, rode often and on the last day 10 minutes rode for free. It is very convenient that the shuttle bus runs from the hotel and back several times a day (60 baht per person one way) it goes to the Central Festival (in this shopping center or on the last or penultimate floor there is a wonderful Japanese restaurant Fuji, I highly recommend it) the plans were to visit an excursion to the River Kwai, but on the second day of rest a young man was poisoned (we ate that day on the beach in the Ambassador), and two days later I was poisoned (at McDonald's). So our trip to Kwai fell through, and we decided to go to Koh Samet. The tour was bought at a travel agency at the exit of the Reka Tur hotel for one, it cost 1400 baht, we were picked up from the hotel early in the morning, 1.5 hours by bus + 20 minutes by boat. We were on the island from 10-16. In fact, the first impression of the island is not very....Instead of sunbeds, hammock chairs, they all stand back to back. Even in the evening at the Ambassador Hotel there are a lot of tents with food by the pool, everything is also very tasty there, and if you go a little further than the tents, you will find a market where you can buy fruits and souvenirs, it works until 23. It is very convenient that there are scales at the reception. before leaving, you can weigh your luggage and already know what to prepare for; . We had another adventure when we left the hotel. THAT we had Biblio Globus, the host in Thailand, Sayama Travel, so a minivan came for us, loaded our luggage and left without us, because. we just didn’t have time to sit down...
