We flew from "Biblio-Globus" or as they call it in another way "Saiyama-Travel", but I will talk about this a little later, first about the hotel. It is cool, very beautiful, with external and internal architecture. The rooms are also on top, we had a large room with a separate huge kitchen and a bar, we really liked it. The staff is very sincerely polite, to be honest, this is the first time I meet such a person in my practice, they will always help and in any way they can, and absolutely free of charge. Although the guide warned us that for additional help, the Thais could rip off extra money, but nothing like this happened to us, everything was at the highest level! The hotel and staff can rightly be awarded four stars, and even with a plus. The hotel has a nice swimming pool. They also gave quite decent breakfasts, given that before the trip we read reviews about breakfasts in other hotels, and not very flattering ones. . So, our breakfasts were very even on the level! Who will come, he will appreciate! You can have lunch or dinner in cafes nearby or right on the street - the food that the Thais deliver on motorbikes is very tasty and cheap, and pure meat without any additives. Of course, you are unlikely to want to swim in Pattaya on local beaches, in any case, we did not dare, because the water is very dirty. Therefore, it is better to sail to islands like Koh Lan. But if it’s every day, then it’s really exhausting, so don’t be zealous with it. Moreover, we came not just stupidly to swim in the sea, but to see the country and culture of the Thais, to taste their cuisine (who does not believe it is really very spicy, especially in their version, some dishes are simply impossible to eat). Who will rest in this hotel, I recommend going to Buddha Hill, especially since it is very close, on the other side of the hotel, there is even a gate with a ladder there. Really very beautiful! There is a Chinese temple dedicated to their culture and Confucianism, as well as a Buddhist one with a huge Buddha statue. . There is also an observation deck, which offers a gorgeous view of the whole of Pattaya. Well, sort of told all the positive aspects of the stay, now about the negative ones. Fortunately, they are not connected with the hotel and its staff, but with our wonderful tour operator, thanks to whom we ended up in such a wonderful place. So, the flight is normal, the accommodation is also normal, the problems began with the excursion programs provided by our tour operator called "Biblio-Globus". Well, we, as "real Russian people" - adherents of reliable and safe, chose on the advice of a girl from a travel agency, as well as the services of the same tour operator advertised by the guides of the Biblio-Globus company, I do not want to repeat in the title. They really intimidated us that other agencies can throw us and will not be responsible for us and that they are the best in Pattaya! Although other people went and everything was in order, and much cheaper! One excursion we had was free, however, like everyone else, it was probably a snake farm with a park of million-year-old stones, as well as a sightseeing tour of Pattaya. Our esteemed hotel guide named Artem, a rare asshole, said that we had an excursion to the orchard, without explaining that our snake farm was included there, convinced us and many others, for an additional fee - 100 baht per person, to go to the crocodile farm. Well, we went, everything was fine, there was no wrangling, a good tour, but only where the sightseeing tour of Pattaya was, we unfortunately did not understand, because we were taken to this very farm with crocodiles, roundabout ways. I don’t know, of course, how the concept of a “sightseeing tour” is understood in the “Biblio-Globus”, but personally in my concept, this is not a ride for no one knows where! Well, okay, that's not the most important thing. Well, we also took "Alcazar" from them - it's cool, I really liked it, a great show; Kwai - also nothing, but not directly super, as many people say about him; All Pattaya in one day - which we subsequently safely abandoned. Well, how not to talk about the "Bonzai Express" - it's just something. Well, unlike all the other excursions we have been on, this one did not have a single representative of "Biblio-Globus". Naturally, they didn't really explain anything to us. The only thing we were armed with before this trip was the text in the printout of this excursion, issued by our esteemed asshole Artem at the very beginning, in which it was written that you need to have comfortable clothes and sunscreen (creams, sprays, etc. ) . The ship, or it would be correct to call it the vessel on which we sailed, was equipped with an excellent team led by the captain "Hook" - a rare character, and of course his sparkling humor. In general, we seemed to sail safely, drank coffee with donuts, then had lunch. Then my wife and I climbed to sunbathe on the upper deck. Before arriving at the coral island, a huge cargo ship passed in front of us. Our captain, led by his team, without thinking for a long time stopped to let him through, but as soon as he passed us, he immediately rushed on at full speed, apparently in a hurry. Well, the wave is, it is also a wave in Africa! I mean, a wave created by a huge cargo ship. In short, she almost threw our vessel. As a result, my wife and I. almost flew off the upper deck overboard. Of course, I love extreme sports, but I was not alone, but with my wife. Familiar guys with whom we met when moving into the hotel, who went with us on this excursion, generally remember it with horror. The guide or captain, in general, a rare eccentric, he slept all the way, only occasionally getting up and explaining what kind of island it was, without telling anything about it, he went to rest again. We had a feeling that he was from yesterday's binge and he was really broken. He didn't even bother to warn us that the beach on the first island we landed on wasn't exactly meant for swimming, due to the large variety of sea urchins that dotted the bottom of this beautiful beach. Also, no one warned us that on this island, we will be under the open scorching sun, because there were no spare umbrellas or awnings, and those that were - they were occupied. As a result, sunscreens were powerless and we simply got burned. However, the surprises did not end there, no one initially warned us that the landing of wild monkeys on the island is paid - 20 baht per person. Well, that's not scary either. Our tour included visiting 3 (three) islands. Instead, we only visited two, and on the third we were kind of not allowed in because of the exercises of the naval forces of Thailand. In fact, we were a wonderful tour operator, leaked us to some street agency on the cheap, because there were only 6 (six) of us. The people who sailed on this vessel with us called the excursion "Sea Adventures", which included a visit to 2 (two) islands. This explains the sudden start of the exercises and the ban on visiting the island. which simply did not exist! And what difference does it make to us? We didn't pay for this! In short, the day went to hell and was simply lost. We collectively, under my strict guidance, wrote a claim to the Biblio-Globus, in which we demanded the return of the difference in money and other unplanned expenses (landing on the island of monkeys). We called our beloved guide Artem and asked him to accept a claim from us and sign on the second copy, as normal people usually do, to which he replied that he would not sign anything, because. not authorized to do so. Of course, we tried to explain to him that there was nothing shameful in this and that it was quite normal, but it was useless. He told us to leave it at the reception and he or his employee will pick it up. Naturally, this did not suit us, in particular me, because there was no guarantee that this claim would hit the right place. We called Artyom's boss, explained the situation and demanded that one of the company representatives formally accept the claim. After long negotiations, Artyom's boss, whose name is Vladimir, nevertheless agreed with my arguments (not without emotional ones). Artem called us back and said that he would accept the claim, but not today, but in two days. And the next day after that, we had to fly away. Then I realized that this is just a scam and they want to hush up this matter, of course, without returning any money. I threatened Artem that if he did not accept the claim, then I would call the director of the company and talk with him, as well as glorify their company wherever possible. He naturally agreed, saying that he would call in two hours later. . Arriving three hours later, he accepted the claim, of course, while receiving far from flattering reviews about himself and the company in which he works. In short, we fought for 6 (six) hours so that this supposedly largest company would accept the claim against us. Of course, the money was returned to us, but as they say, the whole thing did not end there. The day before departure, our wonderful hotel guide Artem, no doubt the face of the Biblio-Globus company, was supposed to call us and tell us the time of departure from the hotel and the exact time of departure. No, this nonsense, of course, called in the morning when we were not in the room (we were in the pool and therefore did not take the phone with us) a couple of times, well, like it was noted. Then until the evening, not hearing not spirit. And our flight was originally scheduled for 11:20. Accordingly, we had to leave the hotel early in the morning. We have already begun to get a little nervous, because there was no call, no information at the reception, which reputable agencies always leave. Before that, they flew from Tez-Tour and Pegas-Tourist, no complaints. T. to. there was simply no money on the SIM card donated by Biblio-Globus due to negotiations on accepting the claim, we decided to call this motherfucker from the reception at 20:00. As I expected, he will say that I called you, but you did not pick up the phone. . . But let us fly away tomorrow, but he didn't tell us anything, not at any time, nothing more! Then he received a couple more flattering words addressed to himself and to the company, and, like reassuring us, he said that at nine o'clock in the evening a note would be sent to the room, which would indicate the time of departure and departure. Well, of course, he said what time the departure would be on the phone. And apparently this seemed to him enough, because we never received any note afterwards. Well, what can I say, summing up, the lauded company turned out to be nothing more than a rare sharaga, which, to be honest, I would not want to get involved with later. If, of course, we have to, then we certainly won’t take any additional services in the form of excursions from them. Although in the reviews before the trip I read rather positive remarks addressed to them, in reality everything turned out to be very, very bad. . Yes, and they shouted about themselves that they would tear their ass for each client, but in our case, unfortunately, this was not observed. Happy holidays everyone! Thanks for attention!
