The windows overlooked the street where music played in the bar all night until dawn and visitors were noisy. The mattresses are wooden and uncomfortable. Bed linen and towels I doubt that they wash at all. The pillows have a pronounced musty smell. After I paid the cleaning lady, the bed linen was changed to more or less clean and the towels were given the same color. However, the pillows still smelled. Very dirty windows and in the bathroom there is dirt and mold on the walls. Removed only for a fee. The safe doesn't work. Pluses there is wifi, air conditioning, a dryer and a working refrigerator. The shower was located directly above the toilet, it was disastrously inconvenient to use, while everything that was in the bathroom got wet. The location of the hotel itself is quite convenient. It is located across the road from the beach, but the place is quite noisy. All rooms face either the road or 2 bustling streets lined with bars and restaurants. There is often no staff at the reception at all, despite the fact that the hotel is always open and it is recommended to keep the keys at the reception so as not to lose them, for which you will naturally have to pay. A deposit upon check-in is taken 2000 baht or $ 100, while there were problems with its return. On the last day of my stay, a friend came to the hotel for me and we went down together for a deposit, which infuriated the owner of the hotel who was standing there. It turned out that visitors are prohibited and for this a fine of 500 baht. He refused to return the deposit for a long time and at the same time behaved extremely aggressively. Having agreed to pay the fine, I heard a lot of unpleasant words from him. After that, he returned the entire deposit to me, saying that he wanted to punish me with this. I don’t know why decent, non-conflict people cause such a reaction from the hotel management, apparently because such people rarely stay there. The episode extremely spoiled both mood and karma.
