Was in Thailand for the first time. Before that I was in Turkey, Greece, Egypt, Kirpa, Spain. Tai is a truly magical and fabulous country, unlike any other.
now about the hotel.
ROOM
I must say right away that a deposit of 2000 baht is taken at the entrance, which is returned upon departure.
I lived in room 539. which is right next to the elevator on the 5th floor of a 9-story old building. nice room, 2 large beds, plasma TV, music. center, refrigerator, kettle, large safe (I could freely store all the docks there, a netbook and a professional camera). balcony overlooking the pool. I left the air conditioner on for the day, turned it off at night, so I didn’t catch a cold (as is usually the case in Turkey). Sometimes cookies and fruits were brought to the room just like that. Tipping I left 1 time 20 baht. It is not customary for them to tip with coins, and the smallest bill is 20 baht.
TERRITORY
2 pools, I swam there only 1 time.

those who write that there is construction going on near the bass, which is near the restaurant where they have breakfast - firstly, the construction did not interfere, there was no noise from it either, in the rooms it was very good. good soundproofing. and secondly, there is another pool and there are islands ...
LOCATION
in my opinion, the most convenient location of the hotel in the city of Pattaya, it is better not to think of it. at the exit from the hotel towards the sea on one side there is a huge shopping center Festival, on the other side of the Maik Shopping Mall, the Royal Garden Plaza shopping center (this is the one with a red plane in the building)
SEA
near the hotel there is a city beach, there is no sea and no one swims there, the road is nearby, noisy, dirty. Get to a great beach on the island och. simply. you go out onto the road by the sea, stop the tuk-tuk (this is a car in which there are already several passengers, because if there are none, then this is a taxi and the fare will be 10 times more). rides a tuk-tuk for 5 minutes until it turns left. turned - press the call button and exit.
we pay the driver 10 baht (this is 10 rubles). We go straight along Walking Street for 10 minutes to the port. you don't need to buy anything from the tickets at the port. we go straight to the ferry, give the aunt 30 baht at the entrance, go on the ferry and go. there are 2 options for the development of the event: 1) you are brought directly to the beach, get off the ferry and enjoy the white sand and clear sea. 2) you are brought to a place where there is no beach. tell any dude (not even Russian) knock-knock, he shows you where to go. you go there, take a tuk-tuk, 5 minutes and for 20 baht he will take you to the nearest beach. if you pay more, you can go to another beach. There are 6 beaches in total. you can take a free map of Pattaya in Russian at the entrance to any shopping center and there is a description of all 6 beaches on the island of Koh Larn, which we just arrived at. we also leave back to Pattaya by ferry straight from the beach, there is no need to go anywhere else.

by the time the last ferry is at 17:00 from this beach, but they speak from some pier and there is a ferry at 18 o'clock, but I had enough time until 5 o'clock. The beach is full of shops with Thai clothes, cafes with fish and meat products. you can eat at all. any food.
FOOD IN THE HOTEL
breakfast is excellent. selection of dishes. large. in comparison with the same Turkey, Egypt and similar countries. Buffet. there are freshly squeezed juices, but they are badjazhat with ice - everywhere. and on the streets too. they just don’t drink juice, they mix pieces of fruit with sugar syrup and ice in a blender. makes a great refreshing drink. at breakfast: scrambled eggs, several types of meat, fruits, vegetables, even rolls)) (in the morning I couldn’t eat them, of course, but I think there are lovers). Freshly brewed excellent coffee is provided upon request. you can also ask for tea. the breakfast restaurant is cozy, soft chairs, tables with white tablecloths, decent, clean.
EATING OUTSIDE THE HOTEL
In a restaurant, when ordering any dish, you need to remember as our father: know spices. Otherwise, they will fill you with so many red peppers that it will be impossible to eat and you will have to order something else.
I ate several times at a bar near Royal Garden Plaza, next door to McDonald's (you pay 300 baht or 330 if after 5pm). You can eat whatever you want for 1.5 hours - a buffet. They bring a choice of green tea or cola. There is ice cream, fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, rolls, shrimp in batter. All in all a good selection and delicious food.
Thai banana pancake is also a classic, everyone should try it, they make it on every corner, it's delicious. An egg with a pancake is poured into the thinnest layer of the body, an envelope is made and fried on 2 sides, then poured over with condensed milk. Yummy.
And, of course, fruit. There are a huge number of them. Anything different, exotic. In the market near Mike you can try and buy all kinds of fruits.
I bought home, where square baskets are sold for 100 baht just for transportation. I packed all the fruit and put it in the baggage in this box on the plane. At home, she treated everyone to these unusual fruits.

In general, where to eat - the choice is huge. Cafes, restaurants, in the shopping center there are a lot of eateries. Everyone will be able to pick up to itself on the price, quality and convenience.
In the Festival shopping center on the 1st floor, rolls are 10 baht apiece. I took 10 pieces in a box and ate enough. Delicious good rolls. But there mostly with crab sticks. Good rolls with good fish, etc. are already in Japanese restaurants and are 2-3 times more expensive, but they are much tastier.

TOURS
everyone is praising the River Kwai. I must say I didn’t go to her, it was very good. I didn’t want to spend a lot of time and 2 days on this excursion, but whoever has more time, I think it’s worth going, because whoever I asked what to visit in Thailand, all people unanimously say first of all: the Kwai River! ! !
Koh Samet island. it cost me 1500 baht, not worth the money at all. the same as the island of Koh Lan, which I got to on my own and 10 times cheaper and 6 times faster. we were taken there for 2 hours, even more by bus, then by sea for another half an hour, och. tiresome. actually fed dinner. good lunch. and taken back at 4 pm. this day was wasted in vain, one might say. I would hang out on Koh Lan until 5 pm and get there not so long and tiring. Well, yes, on Samet the sand is a little whiter. They say that Phuket is cool, but I have not been there, I can’t say anything.

sightseeing tour of Pattaya (free). pure waste of money. A latex factory (pillows and mattresses), a jewelry factory (decent gold items from $1.000), a cosmetics store (everything is expensive and I don't think it's worth it). well, they showed another snake show ...from the highest point of the city they looked at the whole of Pattaya - very good. nice. there is a golden big buddha, it is also interesting.

Panoramic tour of Bangkok (1 day). We went to all sorts of temples and then lunch in the world's second tallest building Baiyoke Sky. From the 84th floor, you can see the whole city from the observation rotating platform. Nice, it's worth it. The restaurant where they fed, it is on the 76th floor of this building, is also good, the choice of dishes is simply huge. But I think in Bangkok you can take excursions for 2-3 days, but whoever loves it. 1 day was enough for me.

Botanic. Nong Nooch garden. There are all sorts of orchids, but they give time for everything. few. quickly ran out of the bus, took a picture and drove on. I took the evening version of this tour, so in the evening after dinner there was a short show of transvestites (in principle, I had enough and I didn’t go to the Tiffany show, although they say it’s a chic spectacle, I’m just not a fan). After the orchids, we rode elephants, then there was an elephant show, it's great, they ride bikes and bowling, they play basketball. Interesting. Then the actual dinner with the show.
And after that, burning white lanterns were launched into the sky. Good excursion.

And of course, having arrived in Thailand, you should definitely try Thai massage.

As a conclusion to the hotel. Decent, great hotel. Justifies its 4 stars.
And yet, girls who cannot find a company for a trip, go alone. I went for the first time alone and I had no problems. If you behave decently, do not look for adventures yourself at the 5th point, then everything will be super. In Thailand, no one sticks like in Egypt or Turkey. And in all sorts of stores, too, if you said no to the seller, then no, he will not insist.
And yet, it is customary to bargain there, you can buy 2 times cheaper than the price that was originally declared by the seller.
The exchange rate changes a little, for a penny. On average, 1 baht = 1 ruble, so in prices Pts. easy to navigate. When exchanging 50 and 100 dollar bills, the exchange rate will be the most profitable, about 30 baht per dollar. I exchanged a maximum of 30.15. When exchanging 10-49 dollars.
The course is less profitable, 29 kopecks. Well, when exchanging 1-9 dollars, even less. So it's better to immediately change at 50 or 100 dollars as needed.
Pts I hope that my review will help someone in choosing a hotel and in general a description of Tai. Have a nice holiday)))
