We were in Thailand in April 2010 and we still remember this trip with pleasure, although we already visited Turkey in September. The trip to FABULOUS TAI was not the first, there is something to compare with. Compared to a 4 * hotel, the hotel does not have its own beach, a small area and a smaller selection of dishes at breakfast. But how much higher is the price in 4 *! Is it worth spending extra money on accommodation? It's better to spend it on excursions and trips. The hotel is located in the middle of Jomtien Beach, at the end of 2 lanes (at a dead end). Reminds me of a castle with swallows' nests. It is facing the sea, so all the rooms have a sea view. The room is spacious, with a huge triangular loggia (up to the 6th floor-balcony). Rooms are cleaned and towels are changed every day (I am writing about the standard). The food is good, not much fruit. The staff is very friendly and responsive. Without knowing languages, with the help of a smile and gestures, you can resolve any situation. By the way, the bathroom has a bath (sorry for the pun). The territory of the hotel is small, but clean and green. There is a good infrastructure around the hotel - many cafes, shops, massage parlors, an exchanger, a Buddhist temple where roosters sing in the morning. There are tuk-tuks 200 meters from the hotel and for 10 baht you can get to the center without any problems and to the pier too. I don’t know about everyone else, but our sea was clean, despite the waves. The beach at 6 am is cleaned by the owners of the sunbeds, sifting the sand through a sieve (no fools, we saw it ourselves because we went swimming very early). We wanted to go to the same hotel this year, but decided to go to Phuket.
