Good time of the day! Thailand is a fabulous country with beautiful nature, beautiful islands, delicious cuisine, exotic fruits. We arrived tired in the evening, entering the hotel gives the impression of a good hotel: large columns, massive chandeliers (not burning), not new furniture - only in the past! There were a few other people with us, but they immediately gave us the keys to the room on the 9th floor. (No. 9026). When we entered the room, we were not pleasantly surprised, there were 2 single beds and it was impossible to move them, so we immediately went to the reception desk with a request to change the room, met a young couple who came with us, found out that they had the same problem and that tomorrow they the number will be changed at 14-00. At the reception, the girl rummaged through the PC for a long time and then said that we should come tomorrow at 14-00 and even wrote on a piece of paper the planned room on the 7th floor to which we would be relocated. Then we got to know our No. 9026 better and found out a bunch of shortcomings: the balcony door did not close on constipation, it was simply torn out, the bathtub was leaking, the curtain in the bathroom was terrible! dirty! , the light in the bath was constantly blinking (they asked us to fix it, they didn’t fix it, they didn’t insist because we survived the night in this room), there was 1 socket and current in the bathroom, the shower was not conveniently built into the wall. Seeing such a horror, they decided to play it safe... they went down and gave a chocolate bar "Bear in the North" to the girl at the reception so they would definitely change it to a normal number.
The next day we went swimming in the sea (the first and last time I didn’t want to swim there anymore; 2 sunbeds sitting with an umbrella 60 baht) and went to the reception, yesterday’s girl was not a man who told my husband that he gave a very good room and sent us at 10 fl. in No. 1023. Entering the room, we felt that the room was much better, instead of tiles, linoleum was laid under the parquet on the floor, there were no listed problems as in the previous room, even instead of one socket there were two, and instead of one balcony there were two (none had chairs and dryers for clothes), from one there was a view of pretty houses of the 2nd floor, from the second there was a view of some kind of barracks and the sea could be seen a little, and most importantly, the room had 2 bedrooms. bed!! ! Here are the shortcomings in the room: the closet door is broken, the water in the shower is cool out of 10, it was hot only one day, there was no kettle, there were no mugs in the room (there were current glasses), not to mention coffee bags, there is a cooler downstairs and a type of thermos, which, as it turned out the Chinese seized, instead of a thermos they gave us a bucket of ice)) we asked for mugs NOT GIVE, we drank in glasses; noise from street fans (maybe I’m mistaken, well, in short, from some installations) although the hotel itself is quiet, the air conder worked only at high speed and in general in the room and in the hotel as a whole the general feeling of twilight is not comfortable. The hotel does not have a territory, there is a pool in the courtyard, the water seems to be not bad, there is a compartment with a jacuzzi that does not work and, moreover, girls of the ancient profession can safely swim in it, by the way, they themselves watched (for us, early in the morning, a minivan should drive up to Koh Chang) how two men were returning early in the morning from a party with such girls and no one detained them.
As for food, I’ll say this, the breakfast is very modest, many times without regret they woke it up or took it on excursions, by the way dry rations give shameful! Two buns, a sausage, butter, no water, no juice, not to mention fruit!
We tried to be less at the hotel, traveled around the islands, drove to Cambodia, tried to take two days.
