Paradise in Pattaya
We were in Pattaya during the so-called low (rainy) season. Upon arrival in Bangkog, Thailand, we were greeted by the sun. While driving to the hotel (about 2 hours) - it rained, and arrived - again the sun. Settled in immediately. But we booked a pacific room overlooking the pool, and we were settled in the main building in a deluxe room with a view of the roof of a neighboring hotel. The room is wonderful, clean, comfortable, with bath and shower. But we didn't like the view from the balcony. We called our guide (Thais do not understand Russian at all), the guide explained everything to them, and the next morning we were transferred to our wonderful Pacific without any problems. We settled down, looked around the beautiful view from the balcony and, satisfied, went for a walk around the neighborhood. The sea is a 3-minute quiet walk. The beach is clean and so is the sea. They also sell coconuts with a straw, water, Thais sell shrimp in batter, etc. Near the hotel there are many massage parlors (they do great massage! ), Russian cafe "Uncle Vova" with huge portions (meat in huge pieces), next to a restaurant with live music and songs in Russian. There is a macaroon on the road near the hotel (a cart on which a Thai boy cooks and sells hot kebabs, pork ribs. Nearby are macarons with fresh fruit, boutiques with clothes (sundresses, tunics, T-shirts, shorts, slates, etc. ), there are many pharmacies with Thai ointments, coconut and other oils, Noni juice. There are many boutiques nearby, such as a tour bureau. TIP: do not take excursions from your guides under any circumstances! Take them on the street in boutiques! ! Whatever the guides tell you, no matter how they scare you and promise you golden mountains - DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!! ! Go to boutiques and take excursions on the street!! ! Just as reliable, and 2 times cheaper (not 5 thousand . , and 2.5 thousand each!!! ) And in no case do not take an excursion to Cambodia! (We arrived from there all in a suppressed shock!
