My first trip to Thailand!

We were going in two days, so we didn’t have to choose a hotel, we were content with what was available, but we didn’t regret it.

1. We flew from Moscow with Aeroflot, we were very satisfied, the new Airbus A-330 was fed well twice, very tasty. The flight lasted 9-30, it turned out to be not very tiring, we were busy watching movies (there is a TV in each seat). Before the flight, I intensively browsed the Internet, thanks to everyone who answered my questions.

2. Well, here he is, a long-awaited vacation in a sunny and warm country. We flew with Tez Tour, we were met very well, everyone was told, everything was shown. We got to Pattaya on a comfortable bus, somewhere around 1-30 or 2-00. They settled immediately, the room was in the first building (it's old), there is also a second building (it's newer), the room itself is not bad and they cleaned the same clean, no insects there. But since it is old, the smell was present, some kind of old age, or they just smoked there for a long time before us. But we are not picky and we were satisfied with the view from the window (see photo. ).

3. We were at the hotel around 12-00, while we took a shower and decomposed, it was time for lunch, but we first went to the beach. They followed him.

The beach is right in front of the hotel, just walk across the road and that's it (they have left-hand traffic so be careful). Sun beds are paid, they cost 30 baht. all day. I won’t say anything about umbrellas, since we took sunbeds both under umbrellas and without them, and we never paid for umbrellas. On the beach, of course, there are numerous merchants of all sorts of things (from fruits, shrimp, crabs to clothes and paintings), we didn’t buy anything from them except food. To some they may seem intrusive, we didn’t care, and we were only 2 times on this beach. By the way, shrimp cost 10pcs. 100bat. We sunbathed, went shopping and went for a walk, and at the same time to see where we could have dinner. From the exit of the hotel to the left there are a lot of cafes and many different ones, we liked the Oasis, Thick Shrimp (it is located from the hotel to the left to go about 300 meters and there will be an alley to the left where you will see a large green sign in Russian), but in general we we ate in a macaron next to the hotel on the very first evening, we found the most decent one when compared with everyone else (from the hotel, walk 100 meters to the left and in front of the very first store on 7/11 there is a cafe, at first glance very modest, several long tables laid with simple but clean oilcloth), in this place we ate throughout our stay and have never been poisoned by anything (I advise you to ask without spices, they always have spices on the table separately, so pepper yourself, I advise you, since this is still some kind of additional disinfection ). The same woman cooks there, her name is Lek, it is very tasty and most importantly fresh. Rice with seafood costs 40 baht. (By the way, they have a menu and you can just show the picture, the menu is in English. ), Soup with seafood (a rather large portion, you can even take for two, one is a lot, but it depends on who eats how. ). 40bat. The most expensive is the whole fish fried in oil costs 150 baht. , different Thai salads from 40-80 baht. , grilled squid costs (3 pieces) 100 baht. , shrimp both grilled and in oil and simply boiled 100 baht. (10 pieces). They sell the same drinks, but we never bought a 7/11 store nearby, we took it there. In general, dinner cost somewhere on average from 250-350 baht. for two with a beer. For comparison, we were in a cafe and had dinner there, a whole fish for two 450 baht. , Thai salad 160 baht. , red wine 0.5 l. 300 baht. The cafe has Russian and Italian and French cuisines, of course, it is better for a child to eat in a cafe.

If you walk a little further from this place to the left, then they sell a lot of fruits there, very different, we tried something new every day, we really liked mangosteen, pineapple, just unforgettable, dragon fruit, coconut, rambutan, carambola and many others (I don’t remember the name ) did not try the durian. They also sell delicious pancakes (similar to a puff pie) with a banana and many other fillings are very tasty. I was surprised, but for some reason we didn’t find sweets there (maybe they don’t eat them), or maybe we just didn’t look well.

In general, the first day was over and we were tired but happy went to bed. The difference of 4 hours is noticeable and adaptation takes place somewhere in 3-4 days, although this depends on the characteristics of the organism.

4. On the second day we decided to go to the island of Koh Lan. Having breakfast at the hotel, the breakfast is quite decent, no frills, you will not be hungry. It costs 10 baht per person from the hotel by tuk-tuk (you stop near the hotel like our regular minibus and without asking anything go to the place you need, if you want to get out then press the bell there are a lot of them inside, so white, get out, give money and If an empty tuk-tuk stops, then I do not advise those who are for the first time to sit down, they can charge you 150 baht as a taxi, get into the one in which at least someone is in the direction of the center. and immediately after it, get out, then climb along this flyover up to the pier (buy a map, but in general the hotel guide gave us for free), go about 10 minutes at a normal pace. Walk along the pier to the very end, there is a boat at the end of the pier here is its schedule and the route costs 30 baht/person sails 45 minutes to two different piers on the island: at 10.00 and 12.00 - to the central pier of the island (I do not advise you to go, although it is closer to get to other beaches of the island, except for Tawaen Beach , at 8.00, 9.00, 11.00 - to Tawaen Beach. motorbikes will immediately meet you and offer to drive to other beaches, do not rush to agree (although if you want extreme sports, you can), go a little further and see a tuk-tuk (in my opinion it is safer) there are 3 more of them, in my opinion, we were on the beach Monkey Beach you can swim there with a mask, although there’s not much to see, there are a lot of sea urchins there, just a huge number, and near the shore, so be careful, we didn’t see monkeys there. We really liked Tawaen Beach and we don’t have to go anywhere and everything is the same (only there are much fewer people on other beaches), snow-white sand, azure water is super. Sun loungers on which you can lie down cost 50 baht. Bargaining is useless, sitting 30bat. The boat sails back to Pattaya from the central pier of the island at 12.00, 17.00, 18.00, from Tawaen Beach at 13.00, 14.00, 15.00, 16.00. On this beach, just a huge number of Chinese rest, although there are many of them everywhere.

My husband and I are rather modest eaters, so lunch was replaced by fruits, beer, shrimp. And we had dinner in a macaroon next to the hotel (I wrote about it above).

5. Our first excursion took place that evening, we went to the X-Show, I want to describe, because I think that it is not worth it, although how to anyone.

So, you can’t bring a camera, phone, camera with you. The program lasts about 1.5 hours and is repeated, 3 times once lasts, about 50 minutes. Boys and girls come out in the nude, dance badly, have sex and perform various manipulations with their intimate parts of the body, using various devices (total I can’t describe it, but I don’t think it’s necessary, who wants to see it, go. ). My husband and I didn’t like it, it’s not very pleasant to look at it, it’s not a striptease at all (of course there is exoticism, but the feeling of something dirty and not pleasant remains. In general, I think visiting Tiffany or Alcazar is much more beautiful, spectacular and interesting.

We walked along Walking Street, everything is beautiful in illumination, there are a lot of people to see what is there, the only negative is to sit in a cafe rather expensive.

6. Our second tour of the river. Kwai is just the most amazing experience, I advise everyone to definitely go. At the hotel guide, the cost of the tour from Tez tour is 5400 baht. Per person, but there is one small one, but do not agree right away, go to him the next day and ask about the Sabai voyage, this is a subsidiary of the trip to Pattaya and this tour costs 2700 baht. per person (I think there is not much difference, because we all liked it very much, from the bus to the hotel on the water, the Russian-speaking guide, Anna told us interestingly. ) The tour included: 1 breakfast, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, decently) + water at every feeding, a coconut farmer's house, a walk around the market on the water, (sit closer to the bow of the boat, otherwise you will definitely be splashed with water from the canal, and it is far from clean, the boat goes fast), but they bargain very well in the market take off, teak factory (furniture and pictures from teak, very beautiful, if someone wants to buy then the prices are approximately, a very beautiful bar counter (see photo. ) costs $ 1500-3500 delivery anywhere in the world for free, this is the cheapest of the rest of the furniture is quite expensive. Then a national park with a waterfall (stunning beauty, swam with trout), then a very decent hotel on the water (see photo) though ants ran to the toilet, but quickly left and they don’t bite, there is air conditioning, we saw a snake in the water in the river almost beside reg at night she caught frogs there, not big (no need to be afraid, they themselves are afraid of you), got up early, had breakfast, then took radon baths (as they almost visited our bathhouse), then a herbalist's shop (there are different teas, creams, oils and etc. , I advise you to take coconut oil there. it is 100% there and a large bottle costs 500-700 baht. , it will be more expensive in stores), then a doctor’s shop, they will offer a tincture to try on herbs (reminiscent of whiskey) they sell various pills and pills from herbs (expensive), further elephant trees, ride on elephants for about 30 minutes (just super) feed the elephants and take pictures with them, then rafting down the Kwai River on bamboo rafts (everyone will wear a vest, you can swim without a raft yourself, they don’t force anyone to climb into the water, we swam ourselves after the bridge right away we climbed into the water, we liked it, but it’s not pleasant to get out of the water there is some strange feltings, it’s algae, it’s not clear, it’s some leaves under your feet. to the hotel around 18.00-19.00.

The most unforgettable impression was left from this excursion, full of events and interesting, we even learned a few Thai words. Special thanks to the guide Anna, it was interesting to listen.

7. The next day we spent on the island of Koh Lan lying, sunbathing, swimming, in the evening a walk around the center.

8. This excursion was included in our tour, Million Stone Park and Crocodile Farm. Beautiful and interesting, who will go to see what is there. There is a small zoo where you can take a picture with a tiger, a tiger cub and a bear, it costs 30 baht. On your fotik, we got somewhere around 5 photos.

I strongly advise you to go to Nong Nooch Park, well, there is an excursion with dinner, it’s just amazingly beautiful.

Yes, I have preserved the price list for the excursion from both the memos of the tour and from the Sabay voyage, if anyone is interested, write.

Well, I’ll summarize the trip, I really liked it, in Thailand for the first time and there is a great desire to return there, I managed to see only a tiny part, so if everything goes well, we will definitely return there again and again.

Thanks to everyone who answered my questions when we were going to go!

Well, that seems to be all. Thank you for reading to the end.
