We stayed at this hotel in the middle of May. I won’t say that the rest was not a success, but a couple of misunderstandings happened...
First of all, do not believe the description on the sites that the island of Djerba is buried in greenery... this is not Turkey, greenery is only on the territory of the hotel, and sand is everywhere...
secondly, we went to HB for the first time and were very disappointed, because for dinner all drinks were paid, even tea and coffee...
thirdly, the staff does not speak Russian and English well, and it took about an hour to buy beer at the bar on the first day... In bars (for those who do not have "all inclusive") drinks are sold for " tickets" that you need to buy at the reception... 20 tickets - 10 dinars. alcoholic drinks at the bar are expensive.
Fourthly, this is the sea... the knee-deep sea, especially in a storm, was not pleased with the proximity to the lighthouse, the beach is sandy, so the water is very often muddy, a lot of algae...

since the beach turned out to be even worse in the nearest 5-star hotel, we concluded that on about. Djerba doesn’t bother much about beaches in general.
on the positive side, this is that the hotel turned out to be just like in the picture, bright, colorful, cozy, big... better than Turkish triples. In principle, the food was not bad, but without fruit, the pastries are awesome, you can even taste camel meat : )
there is a whole crowd of animations, there is no particular sense from it, except that the local young men are always ready to entertain visiting girls, we never got to the local disco, something was not particularly drawn to... But we discovered the Desperados disco bar by taxi from hotel min 20. another cool institution Shisha bar, tried a hookah from a melon, awesome cool thing... (see photo)
A tour of the island is very similar to a shopping tour : )
the guide managed to take us to a store where everything was 2 times more expensive... We went to Meda for fruit, the prices for fruits are normal and you can buy water much cheaper than near the hotel, you don’t have to go to Meda for a wedding anything special : (
I really enjoyed the trip to the Sahara. . .
were 12 days, did not want to at the end
