Family vacation at the end of November. Impressions are the best. Room at least 25 meters, with a separate bathroom. Restaurant, several bars.
Meals: breakfast from 7 to 10, then from 10 to 12 - in a bar on the street by the pool
from 12:30 to 15 we have lunch by the pool or from 13 to 15 - in a restaurant - there is more choice
after 15 to 17 - afternoon snack - quite Russian pancakes : -) etc.
dinner in 2 shifts - 18 and 20 hours - on the first day you need to go to the metro station and reserve a table. if you forgot - no problem, you can do it right during dinner.
Drinks all the time - but a feature - in the restaurant for lunch and dinner there are no hot drinks - only wines, juices, lemonades. Bars, please. But coffee-teas are not tasty because of the tasteless water, so they still managed without them. Gained 3 kg in 10 days.

The rooms are cleaned every day, good. I gave the guy 1 dinar (~20 rubles) tip. There is a feature - in the bathroom there is a sign that if you want to change the towel - throw it in the bath. I only read it on the 3rd day : ).
The beach is not bad, sunbeds are free, mattresses and towels are provided. When settling, they give laminated pieces of paper - you change them for a beach towel by the pool, and then again a towel for a piece of paper.
Animation in November consisted of three young people - really cool guys, but there are very few of them. You can shoot archery, play petanque, minigolf, etc. , all sorts of gymnastics. In the evening entertainment programs. ATVs, horses, camels, golf and tennis - for individual grannies. Golf is for big grannies.
The thalosotherapy center in the hotel is also separate grannies. The simplest massage is 35 dinars (multiply by 20 rubles), the most minimal rate is more than 250 dinars. If you have 50 dinars - great. But who took advantage - praise.
In the hotel, and indeed on the island, few people speak English. The main language is French, this is understandable, a former colony, then German. Everyone in the hotel speaks it. And rest (in November), mostly German pensioners. There were 7 Russians, and they were the only young people in the hotel, not counting the animators.
We went on an excursion to the Sahara for 2 days - I liked it, I recommend it. It cost about 180 dinars, but there is where to put grannies - buggies, a hang glider over the desert, all sorts of souvenirs...
I really liked the local dates, as well as olive oil - this is from what you can bring home. Oil must be bought in Midoun - a town on the island, from the hotel by taxi - 2 dinars. There are a lot of interesting things there. There are traditional Arab shops where you have to bargain until you are blue in the face (and you still get inexperienced : )), there are shops with a fixed price (it is written at the entrance) - like at home - you came calmly, looked at everything, asked the price and no one bothers. You can also go to Houmt Souk (7 dinars per road) - this town is larger, more interesting. But, by and large, apart from markets, shops, there is nothing to see either.

A call to Russia from the reception cost 1.2 dinars per minute - i. e. very cheap.
There are diving stations, but I don’t know where it is interesting to dive - the entire coast is solid sand. I took a mask, but dived only once - it was boring.
