The first thing I want to emphasize for Russian tourists is North AFRICA! Do not look for sky-high hotels and services in this country.
We traveled from 09/28/2017 to 10/07/2017 via Anekstur, Azureir planes there and Ural Airlines back. The operator did an excellent job, the flight was delayed there for 14 hours, back without delay.
SEA AND BEACH. The most important thing is why you need to go here. Walk 4 minutes to the beach. For those who are especially lazy, every 5 minutes a minibus from the hotel runs back and forth. The sea is simply beautiful, clean, shallow (to swim up to your neck, you have to go far enough) with white soft sand. During the rest, only 4 days it was calm, on the rest of the days the wind from the sea is gusty, it cools directly from the scorching sun (this is even a plus). The beach itself is rough along the entire coast. And this is only from the wool of camels and horses that are walked by locals for riding with tourists. Every morning the beach is cleaned by a tractor - algae are raked, the sand is loosened and leveled. There was always enough space on the sunbeds, unless of course you come after 10. Sunbeds and umbrellas are naturally free from the hotel.

HOTEL.
An old building, but quite a beautiful facade, everything is as in the picture. The rooms are good, free, the beds throughout the hotel are separate-double! keep this in mind when you move in. Cleaned up every day. Hot water, shower, bidet. The tap water itself is brackish (this is always a problem on Djerba). Drinking water can be taken from the bar in bottles as much as you want. Animation is, but weak. I never need her at all. But the animators themselves are very funny and cool.
NUTRITION.
Big buffet. They ate to the stomach. Once we fried 3 large 30kg tuna on the grill, crabs, well, in general, every 2-3 days there was some kind of variety.
The dining room is large, but the queues for food are just terrible)) Do not stand in lines like sheep - come and take what you need, otherwise the crowd sometimes stands only for one dish, and they block the passage to others))))
CHIPS.
1) You can visit the free restaurant by the pool once - sign up in the lobby opposite the reception at the girl at the table. The free menu included two salads, lasagna, pasta, pizza and a bottle of wine ; ))
2) Do not get fooled by the local dealers' divorce! Seeing your bracelets, they break prices 2-3 times more expensive. For reference, we took a kilogram of the cheapest and freshest dates on excursions in the Sahara for 7 dinars, and in Medun they wanted to breed us for 25 dinars per kilogram of dry dates!
3) Medun - the town closest to you with merchants. Go there only on weekdays - on Sat, Sun no one works there. Here you can buy fruit and go to a small supermarket. By taxi from the hotel round trip exactly 6 dinars.
4) After the revolution and the terrorist attack in Tunisia in the past, the beach and the hotel are guarded day and night, there are a lot of guards everywhere, so no incidents happen here. We met the locals on the beach and they reassured us, Tunisia values u200bu200bsafety very much - don't worry))

5) The crocodile farm is located 10 minutes from the hotel (exit from the main entrance and to the left). Entrance costs 18-20 dinars per person. Crocodile feeding takes place twice a week (Wed, Fri) at 17:00, people gather for this spectacle from all hotels, so come early, at least at 16:30, and better by 15:00, because there are besides crocodiles on the territory there is also a clay master and a mini-museum. The master sculpts clay vases and takes cool pictures. And you can also ask to take a picture with a small crocodile. It's all free, if anything - pay only for the entrance))
6) A two-day excursion to the Sahara is just a bomb! Be sure to go! Without it, the rest will seem boring. First, you will get to the mainland by ferry, then by buses for sugar, then you will go to the hotel, swim in the waterfall in the oasis if you wish, you will ride in jeeps on the sands, you will arrive in Tatooine (artificial buildings of the town for filming the Star Wars movie), spend the night in a cool hotel in an oasis, look at the salt lake, buy fresh dates, just picked in the morning for 20 dinars 3kg! Guide all two days about everything was very interesting, a lot of emotions! And we were also "lucky"... here it rains once or twice a year somewhere. According to the forecast, they were supposed to be in November, but they went a month earlier. We saw showers in the Sahara =)) Of course, this didn’t brighten up the tour, but there was no sultry heat and you don’t often see such joy of the locals either)))
7) WiFi at the reception does not work well. But from morning to evening there is Wi-Fi by the pool, which few people know about, it is password-protected - and you can find the password in the room under glass or ask the animators))
In general, the holiday was a success. On the first day or two, I could not get used to the hotel, but in the end I did not want to leave! ) In general, we noticed that there was almost no one on the beach. The feeling that everyone came to the pool! People! It's the sea! How can you come to the resort and sit in the hotel! In which, by the way, there were many indignant tourists who did not like anything. But it was these dissatisfied that I saw at the end of the rest drunk and cheerful at the bar =)))) So, for them, the rest was a success =)))))
Go to rest not with thoughts about service, but with thoughts about the sea. Do not sit by the pool, do not sit in the rooms, then you will remember your vacation and want to return! Good luck!
