We rested in the middle of June 2019. Impressions, in principle, were only positive.

Accommodation for three.

The furniture in the rooms is old, stained, there are holes in the towels. Plumbing is also all old, but working. The unit with the proud name air conditioner works only as a fan. They called the master several times, they will come, turn it on, if it blows, then it works and they leave, that's the whole repair. But if you need to quickly ventilate the room, then you need to open the front door and the balcony door. Judging by the fact that open doors were often seen in other rooms, apparently this is the situation for many, because just an open balcony does not help. Although they are engaged in landscaping: during our time they repainted the walls (without interference with vacationers) and changed old (CRT) or small LCD TVs to new 32-inch ones. The remote control was left in the room without a deposit.

Service for four.

Room cleaning is not very good. The floor will be washed in the middle of the room, and a layer of dust is accumulating under the bed.
At home, of course, I don’t wash the floors every day either, but once a week you can wash it normally. In the corridors, tufts of dust can drag around for several days. In general, the work of cleaners leaves much to be desired.
About the restaurant (dining room). The waiters in the restaurant are efficient, they clean the tables quickly and immediately serve, so there are always free tables whenever you come.
Animation. The animators are just great, they try very hard. There is entertainment for every taste: dancing in the morning by the pool, archery, boccia, water polo, volleyball, aqua aerobics. In the evening there is a mini disco for children, and a mini club during the day. Our children enjoyed it very much. They sculpted, painted, they were taken to the zoo, for a walk along the coast, we didn’t go with them, we just gave them to the care of the animator Rico, he gets along well with children. Animators arrange an evening show for adults on their own.
The result is an amateur performance, in some places very good, but the guys are trying very hard and the chief animator speaks everything in five languages, including Russian. Animator Vili turned out to be a jack of all trades and not only. As it turned out, the fakir (but only blowing fire) out of him is not bad.

The food is excellent.

The food is beyond praise. Meat of all kinds: beef, chicken, turkey, lamb, as well as grilled tuna steak. They also cook pasta, pizza (simple), eggplant in different versions, small fried fish, salads, snacks and putties, fruits and vegetables. The serving of cucumbers is unusual, they seem to be simply cut into slices, while peeled and seeds removed, as in the best French restaurants. A couple of times there was ice cream (almost without queues). In the "Tunisian evening" they cooked couscous. As it turned out, the director of the hotel himself monitors the kitchen, if something is wrong, he immediately calls the chef.

For example, burnt croissants are immediately removed. In general, food can recoup the cost by 120% if you can eat that much. Wine in a restaurant in barrels, white and pink, turns out to be very diluted, because they cool it by pouring ice into barrels. The beer on the bars is almost non-alcoholic, and hard alcohol is half normal (i. e. if it says 40% on the label, count it as 20). The only cocktail that we preferred was sedratine with tonic, ice and grenadine (we came up with this ourselves - this was not offered).

As it turned out, not far from the hotel (immediately to the right and 300 m. ) there is an amusement park for children. Our children were satisfied, but not all the rides could be accessed, some for children over 12 years old. At the box office you can buy a card with "tickets" for 12 dinars for 10 dinars. That is, wholesale is cheaper.

If you go further from the park there will be shops where you can bargain, unlike a shop in a hotel where prices are fixed.
By the way, there in one of the stores we bought excellent farm olive oil (not factory). If you bargain and take a lot (we took 6 liters), then 8 dinars per 1 liter (bottles of 0.5 liters for 4 dinars). They also took the local harissa there.

Tours.

There are many opinions about excursions. It is better to know everything about them in advance. We had a sightseeing tour of Djerba included in the price of the tour, which was very disappointing. There are no interesting sights on the island, so the places to visit are simply far-fetched. I don't think it's worth buying this tour. We also bought a tour called "Chenini", I liked it, for 300 dinars for 2 adults. and 2 days. Since the hotel is not on the island, but next to Zarzis, then go closer. The bus picked up from the hotel at 9-20, and at 17 we were already at the hotel, the children were not very tired.

Summing up, I would like to say that after the trip there were only good impressions.
Despite some shortcomings, the friendly atmosphere of the hotel contributed to this.
