The territory itself is beyond praise. Huge, the bungalows themselves and the rooms are very pretty! And a sea of flowers: really a hotel-botanical garden. Grapes grow at the reception.
Our neighbors were French and Polish families.
We chose between Zenith, Borj Cedria and Hamart. At the Zenith, it seemed a little green. In Cedria paid slides in the pool. As a result, Cedria was visited several times - and the hotel turned out to be too big, I like more compact things (so do not take my comments personally). In Cedria, buses of other excursions call right on the territory, there are too many rooms, the paint is somehow shabby, yes and behind the fence of the hotel there are just some ruins. (but they have balconies, in Gamartha they don’t)
In Hamart, all buses stop at the main entrance, and then the pedestrian zone: back streets cobbled like in Prague, which end with pools. Each pool has an "all" bar, and beyond the pools is the sea. . .
The minus of our hotel for us is the Internet is paid, there was no Wi-Fi in our room, at the reception too, but in some places it takes. It costs a little-5dinar per hour in the Internet club by the pool. But given that the husband worked every day for two hours for two weeks, it cost a pretty penny. I'd rather spend on horses. . .
Pyalzh
The beach is clean, clean-seen. There were not enough sun loungers at "rush hour", but we went for a walk of 1.5 kilometers. And there we lay on the sand. And when we returned to dinner, the beach was already empty.
We went to collect shells - we collected a whole bucket. Children in Tunisia are loved (maybe because violence against a child under 13 is punishable by death), so every time the fishermen gave Danilka shells.
On the beach, no one pestered, if you are with a child, immediately attitude: "madam" and all attention to the baby. In the evening we didn’t swim, not because of the sharks. But because at 6 o’clock there was already a strong breeze from the sea, a wave and it was cool. And in the afternoon the water was like fresh milk. We splashed until we were blue in the face and didn’t get sick (as soon as someone started to wheeze, I gave them arbidol and a teaspoon of Sinekod for inflammation and cough)
Bungalow
On the first day we checked into a standard room. Two beds side by side and one more for a baby. The room is small, shower. Therefore, the next day, Marina, the Russian manager, for 15 dollars, without any alcohol, we changed to a family room. Bath, hair dryer, children's places are separated by a wall with a column. We really liked it - maybe we are not pretentious
The maid came across a kind of Genuaria from "Slave Isaura" - she did not speak English, but she was very nice, if they asked for something, she did everything at once. Once helped me figure out the lock in the door. After that, we wordlessly became friends. They put a dinar on the bed every day and everyone was happy. )
in the room there is a chest of drawers, a nice dressing table and two closets. There are miles of places in them. He (shelves on one side, a wardrobe with hangers on the other) - the son played hide and seek there
Hotel Restaurants
Someone wrote that the central restaurant looks like a canteen. It's true, my husband did not like the atmosphere. Therefore, we went to dine in a snack bar (restaurant on the second floor). There are always french fries, pizza (in a large restaurant you had to wait for a tray to be brought to the buffet). And most importantly, there is no machine with Coca-Cola, from which children cannot be dragged away. There is a cooler - for us it was just a salvation (do not worry, there are wines for adults
It is better to come to dinner at 12 or 12.30 to sit alone on the terrace.
Chefs everywhere are just lovely. Smile, say "bonjour, owl? Mersi" and you will be happy.
In two weeks, my husband and I ate, the child lost weight (but he doesn’t eat anything except buckwheat and meatballs in his life). There is no children's menu, the puree soup is inedible for me personally, there is almost no meat - mostly chicken and fish (again, IMHO, I compare it with Spain, where we were fed with jamon and the best sausages that I ate in my life). But in the hotel on the second floor, I found something like a herring-pickled fish in appetizers.
In general, it seems to me that you should not be guided in food by other people's reviews. I heard that in the hotel someone said that the food is spicy, for me, on the contrary, there is too little spicy. However, salads can be added - spices are everywhere. But what is clear: insanely delicious pastries, donuts, cakes, cakes, croissants, buns, long loaves. . . )
In bars and restaurants, you can collect lemonade and water in a bottle. We took pastries to the room for snacks - there was no other place to put them, because there are no refrigerators in the moeras (! ) - this is important for someone).
There is a plasma in the All bar - they played the championship on it, so in the evening it was like in St. Petersburg sports bars: crowded, noisy and fun
Once a week you can dine for free at the a la carte Italian restaurant. There is a chef from the restaurant on the second floor, so everything is delicious. But our child rolled on the slides so much that he just fell asleep at the very beginning. As a result, the waiters made fun of him, bringing cakes to his spout. In general, the waiters there are just super!
Animation
In the hotel one evening I counted about 50 children on the site - Negro children, Poles, blacks, Russians. But our child went to the mini-club only for cars, to watch cartoons for about five minutes. No offense to the animators, Russians from Biblioshi are the most "dead", foreign guys are more fun. Everyone speaks English, very correct
Our child was more interested in the "houses" and the evening French clown with dances. There are two boys in the role of clowns. They were so perky, energetic. They commanded respect - they were busy with guests from 10 am and late into the night. And they are always so polite, sweet. They simply adored children. Well, of course, and children . . there too. "So the evening clown is an express method of learning French. Development of large motor skills. Memory training.
Development of communication skills. Well, dancing. Moreover, parents have fun no less than offspring (because everything happens next to the bar)
Adults can shoot archery, play golf, do aqua aerobics, but we only watched the kid from the pool, and I because of the books. in amusing ladies' clothes . . laughed and then swam
I recommend everyone living at the hotel to go to the Evening of National Cuisine on Saturday. They feed, drink, dance, show a fakir - and all this is next to the room (in the bar by the water park), so even with small children it will be very cool Were at a similar show and at the zoo . As a result, we decided that the aunt in the hotel shows a more interesting program. They work well with the public.
Entertainment / excursions from the hotel
From the hotel you can go to the Sahara, but with our baby this option has disappeared.
But the whole family went to the local hammam, they gave me an anti-cellulite massage. We bought not in the spa itself, but from the guide Rami (such a handsome uncle). He has a discount, the main thing is to let him warn them (call) that you will come from him. The hammam itself is not luxurious, but massages and rubdowns....mmm... super
My husband told me to recommend a quad bike ride to everyone, because it was a very scenic route that changed his idea of the country. Our child is 4.5 years old, but he endured 2 hours on this tractor and was simply delighted.
I went to Carthage. The hotel is very close, but I didn’t take the child, it’s too hot in the city (it’s very comfortable on the coast near the hotel, and in the city I drank 1.5 liters of water in 4 hours... ). First, the Bordeaux Museum with a mosaic (do not have any illusions-1/2 in restoration), then the Medina (like our Aprashka), then Carthage and the Blue City.
There is a beautiful park in Carthage, I was very amused by the stories about Therma (bath) for 800 people. According to the guide, specially trained blacks sat on marble chairs in the latrines in the winter and heated the toilets for visitors with their bodies
The three of them still mastered the zoo. Elephants walk at home, lions lie like lazy cats and crocodiles swim like logs in muddy puddles.

We took a guided tour (from our hotel about 1.5 hours by bus, it took the whole day, from 12.45 to 22.00, it costs something around 120-150 dollars, but we did not regret it). As a child, I rejoiced at the elephants, they are just cool. You wave your hand to them, and they answer you with a trunk. And in the evening they feed and show the Zulus - they play such wonderful instruments and dance great, even the heart stops from their energy . .
flights
We flew with Transaero, the Bon Voyage company sent us with a surprisingly pleasant manager Daria (I called on the day of departure, on the day of arrival to find out if everything was in order). At the Monastir airport there is Wi-Fi on the first floor. On the second floor, after passport control, it no longer catches. Departures are in the morning, arrived in 2 hours, as recommended by the airline. Taxi I always order one 777-1-777 I don’t know the name From us to the house 400re
Upon arrival, the dutik is small (therefore, if you want to bring alcohol into Tunisia, buy it at our border). And we stocked up on "whiskeys" of all stripes, and in Monastir there was enough at the exit.
On the plane, we took 3 seats side by side in the middle of the plane (the child was sitting between me and my husband). We fed hot and meat, and this is already super
The flights went well thanks to the advice of a friend - the child watched his favorite cartoons on the laptop. What do you wish!
in general, about Africa were just super impressions.
Also thanks to the hotel!
