Tunisian vacation

So, Tunisia! Why Tunisia? My girlfriend and I wanted something not as popular as Turkey or Egypt, where the beaches are full of our compatriots, and secondly, the question of price was also. And here the special offer is cheaper than Turkey and not as hot as in Egypt. According to a special offer, we got Hammamet, a 3 * El Bousten hotel. The information was collected carefully, which later turned out to be only partially true. Arrived in the evening in the Monastery, arrived at the hotel for dinner at seven. The hotel turned out to be big and noisy, crowded and multiracial - very similar to a student dormitory. At settlement many of us put in the passport 20 at. e. , we did not do it, which, in fact, not very sorry. We were escorted to the room by a guy from the staff, who left only after handing him $ 1. The room was, to put it mildly, not very - without a refrigerator, TV, furniture - wood painted blue, no carpeting.
From toiletries - one towel and a piece of soap. It is unlikely that it is 3 *! There was little edible food at dinner — boiled eggs, hard cheese, sausage jam, pasta, tomatoes, and cucumbers. The only thing that was eaten with pleasure - boiled egg and tomato. We generously filled our grief from first impressions with red and rosé wine diluted with water. By the way on the tables - dirty tablecloths, no cutlery. The table must be booked in advance - this is called a reservation and, of course, for the money, for spoons with forks, too, require money. In general, we made a fuss in English (no one understands or wants to understand in Russian), we were given a fork and a spoon and offered to reserve a table for tomorrow. After dinner we recovered to see the hotel - a huge area in front of the dining room, was an open cafe-bar, there was animation.
The animation was the same every night and we soon stopped going to it. Everything was so awful that I wanted to leave, and when we went to the beach that evening, an Arab trader hit my friend with a plastic bottle on the head, covering all her hair with sand. In general, a nightmare. In the morning we woke up from the bright sun and the singing of birds. They ran to the sea. It was beautiful - very similar to the Andriatic! In general, you can write a lot and for a long time - I just want to give a few tips and tricks:

1. The best in Tunisia is the blue sea, golden sand and bright sun! ! ! ! ! Ie the climate is wonderful! Drought than in Turkey, but not as hot as in Egypt.
2. Who said that the Arabs in Tunisia are Europeanized? This is a lie! ! ! ! ! The most intrusive and intrusive, worse and much worse than in Egypt. Go to Tunisia with men ! ! !!
3. The sea - like the Azov in - a sense of shallow and to the depths must be well walked and therefore ideal for children!
Sunbathing is possible only until 11, then the sun just burns and in the evening after 16. Swimming at night is undesirable.
4. Stinging jellyfish are found in the sea - transparent white and purple. My friend was treated for their bite for another month. The bite is like a nettle trail, the body becomes numb and woody, the bird scratches and burns terribly. First aid - ice, tomatoes, panthenol and antihistamines (such as diazoline and suprastin).
5. The sea is often a lot of algae and just banal mud - it is impossible to swim. In addition, there are many Arabs in the sea, which I stick to, grabbing my legs and arms.
6. Food in canteens is low-fat - I ate mostly tomatoes and eggs, because I'm not a fan of potatoes, pasta and boiled sausage. Sweets are given strictly dosed. In general, after Turkey, the horror, but definitely do not recover! Food outside the hotel is quite expensive and not always good.
From fructogv - settled watermelons - very tasty, sugary, sweet, juicy, red (ate 1 kg or more per day).
7. Leave the hotel only with men!
8. Speak English or French, Russian is not understood. You will be surrounded, in addition to Arabs, by foreigners - Poles, Germans, Belgians, French, but they stay away and are not sociable (girls you shine only Arabs ! , who will say that in fact they are Italians).
9. Be sure to try their tea with pistachios and mint - delicious and very invigorating. Of the fruits - dates and cacti, figs and fig peaches.

10. Of the trips, I definitely recommend the Sahara. ! ! A two-day tour costs about $ 150, camels and jeeps can be included, we had camels separately for $ 40. There is a lot to be said about Saharu, but it is better to see everything with your own eyes.
11. Pack your luggage in Tunisia, at the airport $ 15!
12.
Souvenirs - flavored waters for famous brands, dates, olive oil, wine, vodka "Buha" (our best), date liqueur, cactus jam, fig jam, oriental sweets (nougat, rahat-lukum), ceramic tableware, handicrafts from leather - hats, belts, bags and suitcases, sand from the Sahara, painted in different colors, drums. The cheapest souvenirs can be purchased on a trip to the Sahara, on the 2nd day you will be taken to a souvenir shop - it is really the cheapest.
13. Hotel 3 * can be located by the sea, and 4 * across the road. Incidentally, the comfort is slightly better.
14. Be vigilant - you will be easily counted and do not even apologize if you notice it.
15. They demand money for everything - appliances for the table, for a snack in the dining room, for shampoo in the room, etc. You can not pay and demand, it may work. This is if you speak English! And the manager will want to understand you.
16.
Dress in decency by Arab standards - all the way to the knees and elbows - it's in the city. Sunbathe topless only in the presence of bodyguards. Don't buy anything on the beach if you succeed!
17. In general, the best thing about Tunisia is their climate, everything else just has to be accepted, because there is no other choice. Although I'm generally satisfied - there is something to remember - that's for sure! But I don't want to go to Tunisia anymore.
