This hotel in one word - SUCKS. All the Russians with whom we communicated here are simply shocked by this place. One married couple quarreled on the first day of their stay, because disappointment and negativity went through the roof, and the newlyweds said that they would constantly go on excursions, because there was nothing to do in the hotel and only spoil their vacation. In general, we personally did not hear a single positive review from our compatriots, and I am very interested in who are the people who write well about him. Probably, they have never been anywhere before and they have nothing to compare with.
The hotel has no Russian speaking staff at all. If you do not know English, you need to wait for a representative of the travel agency and resolve all issues through him.
We were given a room with one double and one single bed, although when ordering the tour I emphasized that we need three separate beds and an employee of the company that sold us this ticket (Aloha tour) assured me that there would be exactly three beds.

In the room we found 1 set of soap, gel and shampoo and 2 sets of towels, despite the fact that there are three of us. At the same time, the towels are so terrible, washed out, dirty gray, with a bunch of puffs. At home, I use these as floor rags. After two hours and two reminders, we were given a third towel at the reception, which we unwrapped in the room and found dirt stains!!!! ! That is, they brought us someone's used towel !!! ! As they say, back off.
There is no cup for toothbrushes in the bathroom, the furniture is old, the shower room is in dark colors, with poor lighting, apparently, so that dirt and the poor quality of cleaning are not so striking. Removed, by the way, badly. In the center they will sweep and everything. And the corners remained covered in sand and dust. As an experiment, we put a piece of toilet paper in the corner of the toilet near the door, and it lay there all the time we were there, and the corner is quite accessible for cleaning. Therefore, we were afraid to walk in the room barefoot.
Bed linen is also very tired from the time, gray. The balcony is downright dirty.
The dining room (I don’t dare to call it a restaurant) is shabby, completely undecorated, this place does not evoke any pleasant emotions. Just white walls, stained in places. At first we sat down a couple of times by the window, but there the dirt on the walls and windows is even more visible, so in the future we preferred to sit in darker places so as not to spoil our appetite even more, fortunately, there is dim lighting almost everywhere. It's dark in the bar, the hall looks like a dungeon, dark corridors and rooms.
No table service. There is always a lack of cutlery, we have to take forks from neighboring trunks, several times we waited for clean plates. Cups for cold drinks - plastic and plastic. The cloth napkins on the tables may have once been white, but that was probably five years ago. Dishes don't wash well.
The food is tasteless and scarce. The range of food is very poor. Fruits: watermelon, hard melon and potato flavor, grapes, peaches and nectarines. Moreover, the last two positions were swept away at the speed of sound. At the same time, the degree of their maturity was such that we cut them with a knife! )
Sweets - positions 6-7.
The only thing I liked about the food was pastries (croissants and 2 types of buns).

Everywhere they write that the staff is very attentive and helpful. I felt like they didn't care about the guests at all. No one cleans up food that has fallen from the dishes, and it just rolls around.
The most surprising thing is that the beach hotel does not provide beach towels! I encountered this for the first time (and I rested in many places) and even at first I could not believe it.
The road to the beach is very picturesque. On the one hand, there is a shallow canal, at the bottom of which mountains of garbage in mud, mud and sand, tires, cans, bottles, packages, some kind of sticks, etc. are piled up. On the other side is the wall of the neighboring hotel, covered with barbed wire and lined with broken glass.
In such an environment, on a road littered with camel excrement and crushed frogs that no one cleans up, it takes about 7-10 minutes to walk to the sea.
The beach is dirty, especially at the entrance. I posted a few photos, because I have not seen this even in Russia.
The country is generally very dirty. Same as Egypt. The local population does not seem to notice the garbage at all. And he is not at all embarrassed when you start photographing this "beauty" with them. Constantly throughout the entire stay is haunted by a state of disgust.
Do not be fooled by the words "former French colony". France in the classical sense does not smell here.
The only thing that humbled us with the situation was the sea. It is not at all transparent, as in Egypt, Montenegro or Sardinia. After a storm or just strong waves, what is there to swim! But on other days it is quite tolerable, warm, calm or with small ripples. Entry into the sea is smooth, but not prolonged.
There is also no minigolf, it's just a grassy area. We did not go to the hotel spa, because. on the very first day, the Russian guys told us that it was very dirty and disgusting. We didn't want to check.

I did not read reviews about the hotel, because. We took it 5 days before departure from what was left and trusting the recommendations of a travel agency employee (I won’t fall for this bait again). But reading the reviews about Menara already at the hotel, I was more than once surprised by the following fact. It seems that a person writes that there are many shortcomings, poor food and a suitcase was opened for him at the hotel, but he puts a rating of 4! How can this be? ! People!! ! Well, if you yourself got burned and decided to write a review, then be objective. Don't give crappy hotels a B! Then negligent employees of travel agencies, looking only at this figure, will sell these hotels to new poor fellows.
