Good day to all! ) Before moving on to a review of the hotel, I want to share my impressions of Tunisia. If you are already fed up with Turkey and Egypt, want to see the beauty of the Sahara, swim in the amazing Mediterranean Sea on the coast of Hammamet, get acquainted with the rich culture and history of this African country, take a million exotic and panoramic photos - do not hesitate and book a tour, I'm sure you will be happy with your decision! And remember, you MUST take a two-day excursion to the Sahara, it's very cool!! ! (price about $100). The only thing that slightly spoils the impression of the country is garbage, which in comparison is very much. But this is connected with the political upheavals that were in Tunisia a few years ago. As the guide told us, they are struggling with this problem, and every year there is less and less garbage. We can sincerely wish them good luck in this endeavor! Well, now let's start the analysis of the pros and cons of the Regency Hammamet hotel. I want to immediately prepare you that a hotel room at first can spoil the first impression, since the renovation is not new, and the furniture is also not the first freshness, but it always has hot water, air conditioning works properly (which provides pleasant coolness around the clock), there is a balcony. If something in your room is missing or not working - you will be organized quite quickly! The main thing is not to sit back and complain about fate, how everything is not perfect there, but to act!! ! Do not forget that you are in Tunisia))) So,
Cons: rooms are not cleaned every day; in some rooms there may be no hair dryer, or there may be something wrong (which is being solved, as I wrote above); in the dining room, after the first influx of tourists for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the tables remain uncleaned for some time, and if you come later, it is quite difficult to find a clean table; insufficient number of sunbeds on the beach (in order to relax comfortably, you need to come to the beach before breakfast and take a sunbed and only then go to breakfast); Wi-Fi only in the lobby and near the bar (when there are a lot of people, the distribution is very weak, so you can normally use the Internet either in the morning or late in the evening); use the safe! because a banknote of 100 dollars disappeared from our room, local alcoholic drinks are not for everyone.
Pros: the area is large and green; the sea is very close (a minute or two on foot); the food is good (meat, fish, salads, fruits, delicious desserts, you won’t be hungry in a word), the rooms are pleasantly cool, friendly staff, animation, clean and large enough pool.

Therefore, if you are going on vacation, and you prioritize hotel service, its aesthetics, go to Turkey for the same money or choose a luxurious hotel, you yourself understand in a different price category). But if you are going overseas, adventures, new emotions, interesting excursions, and you need a hotel to take a breath, take a shower, cool down, and just relax before the next "adventure" - it will be quite enough!
P. S. Special thanks to the super-guide Sabri for a fascinating, interesting excursion to the Sahara, as well as the good mood that he gave us!! ! Thanks)
