There are many positives. But I’ll start with a big big minus that spoils all the impressions of the trip and which all Russians should pay attention to (I don’t know about others). The hotel is located in the city center near the parkland and the water park, there are also many cafes adjacent to the hotel with loud music. Therefore, in the evenings, all local residents and tourists from other hotels come here. And from 7 pm to 3 am hell begins for vacationers in this hotel. The music is blaring so it's impossible to sleep even the closed shutters don't help. Since most of the windows face the main street. And those that go to the courtyard suffer from the noise that comes from the market that is inside the hotel and also from the hookah (in addition to everything, the smoke gets into the air conditioner and is no longer possible in the room for two reasons) PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MINUS. See where the windows go. Internet is everywhere, The hotel is divided into 4 zones with rooms. 11. . and 12. . these will be quiet rooms located inside the hotel with access and views of the pools (in my opinion the best) but only Germans are settled there. They say that the German travel agency bought them all a year in advance. If you are lucky enough to take a ticket there, then the rest will be a fairy tale in the literal and transfer sense. Rooms for 13 . . it's as lucky (see what would not be at the bottom of the hookah and the windows do not overlook the main street). Well, numbers for 14 . . This is a living hell. The Russians are immediately sent there. Firstly, you have to go there through the market and the merchants pull you every time you pass by them (it can be 10 times a day) buy a Russian and THIS IS STRONGLY ON YOUR NERVE. Secondly, this is the noisiest part of the hotel, since there is a parkland and the King Kong attraction (it roars every 3 minutes and the sound of the trolley and the wild op of the riders) and there is also an animation scene that drowns out everything in the world (even earplugs did not save us. This was our first number. ) Unable to withstand the bullying, I had to interest the manager at the reception with a reward and with
threatening to sleep at the reception, I came with suitcases and didn’t go anywhere until they changed my room (the money played its part and the room was excellent, far from the market and noise) SO DO NOT WAIT BETTER IN THE PASSPORT IMMEDIATELY PUT $ 10-15. (the one who did this settles in normal rooms) There were people with us, they complained to the guide, but in the end they changed 2-3 rooms, but still walked through the market (and this is very far 3-5 minutes walk from the restaurant and the reception and the pool) . And we saw such a picture as the Russians at the reception swearing about the rooms every day, which is the worst thing even with small one-year-old children. (People could not stand it and shouted obscenities. ) Well, now about the PLUSES, the hotel has 4 pools, one of them is indoor and one was with sea water, the largest calm one (but on the last day of rest they made a paid 40 DIN per person, which is about $ 15 ) Food in the restaurant at the highest level, a large selection and, most importantly, everything is very tasty. Here they fry in front of you: and grilled meat and fish, and pancakes and bread cakes and donuts and pizza and pasta with any additives and scrambled eggs. Also a large selection of desserts and fruits and ice cream for lunch and dinner. The waiters guys, as soon as they see an empty glass, immediately pour it even if you don’t want to (they say drink it up). We were given grilled chicken and sushi rolls, and mussels, and grilled tuna, and chicken with oranges, and much more. Stewed vegetables and salads, and cuts. EVERYTHING IS ENOUGH AND ENOUGH (even when you come to the closing of the restaurant. EVERY DAY YOU CAN VISIT ATTRACTIONS AND AQUAPARK (free of charge). Underground
there are a lot of slot machines (but they are really paid). Everyone is expected to visit the wax museum and take pictures in national clothes with exhibits. Also a museum of religion with a Russian-speaking guide. Hamam visits 30 min. As well as 3 themed restaurants (we went to the Mediterranean and sat for 2.30 minutes, we were served: two spoons of salad after 20 minutes, half a cup of mashed soup, then after 30 minutes
a small piece of dried fish and a spoonful of vegetables. then after 30 minutes a piece of beef could not be eaten with pasta, and for last a small piece of cake). Therefore, we abandoned the rest, a waste of time. You can also visit the theater show 1001 nights (the main thing is to withstand the first hour when national instruments are played, and then beautiful oriental dances begin and hot deliciously cooked food is served. ). There is also a gym. Cinema 5D = 3D Well, we still didn’t have time to visit everything in 10 days. The staff is friendly, from the Russian-speaking several people, I resolved all issues through the manager Nur, a very friendly and helpful person NOW ABOUT THE SEA. THIS IS A SIMPLE TALE: very. warm. pure pure and turquoise color. The sandy beach is not deep for children. There are enough sun loungers for everyone when they didn’t come, but mattresses are not for everyone. Whoever came early did it. Also on the beach there is a bar but for free there is only beer, water and juice drinks. A light snack like french fries is served at 11.50 when we are already going to have lunch at the hotel. Not far from us there is entertainment with a parachute for $30. Water bikes 30$-15 min. banana. bun 7$. photo with camels 3$ (although he asks for 7$ with them, you have to trade 2-3 times of the requested amount) With us, the beach was cleaned regularly and as for the stench going along the road to the beach, sometimes it happens if the garbage container was not removed in time . But. You can cross the road and the whole problem is solved. If you buy souvenirs on the market, then trade for half of the requested amount, they say 70 din means up to 30-35 bargain. In the store opposite the JOY hotel, prices are fixed and not expensive, but you can still buy cheaper in the market (haggle). But cosmetics in the store are cheaper than in the market. Our guide offered us trips to the factory where cosmetics are made and to the factory where leather is sewn. jackets within 24 hours for you. Also, the guide offers many different excursions from $20 to $100. .

There are stone walls, narrow streets and wells. Just a castle, not like some fabulous one. This is a fully styled hotel. You need to be mentally prepared, because the first day is a shock, but then you get used to it. The rooms are unique in their own right. But we didn’t have any particular problems with the check-in, since we were settled in the 1st room - we didn’t like it and after looking at a few more options we settled in exactly the one we needed. And they settled us not at 14:00, but at 7 in the morning. On the territory of the hotel there is a wonderful entertainment water park. Wonderful free beach all inclusive. The territory is very large and well-groomed, there is where to walk. The food and service at this hotel is beyond praise. Very good food, quite varied. This hotel has an excursion for which they pay 95 dinars, but here it is free, because there is a restaurant on the territory of the hotel that you can visit once. We absolutely loved everything, especially living in such a stylized hotel.

We did not like the climate of Hamammet a little, but the hotel has nothing to do with it.
What I liked about the hotel:
1. Nutrition. Just great! Every day there was lamb, chicken in different versions, seafood, salads, ice cream, fruits, sweets. Everything is very delicious! There is always something to choose from, just a lot. Their juices are very tasty. Tablecloths, napkins, dishes are always clean, the waiters are attentive even without a tip.
2. The territory of the hotel. Pretty good. Two good outdoor pools, one indoor. Clean, beautiful, close to everything. The waiters at the bar are friendly, do not beg for tips. There are many cafes on the territory where locals hang out, in shops you can buy clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry, souvenirs. I was surprised that there are very few flowers and flowering shrubs, unlike Turkey and Egypt.
3. Guide. We traveled with Oasis. I liked the guide Dmitry very much, friendly and polite, he helped in everything, it was possible to talk on the phone at any time, arrange a meeting. Excursions did not sell us, just gave objective information, for which many thanks to him.
4. Number. We were lucky that Ramadan came, many Muslims left the hotel, therefore, although we purchased accommodation in a standard room, we spent the second half of the holiday in a two-room huge suite with a kitchen! We were relocated without any request or extra charge. Cleaned well, both with tips and without, bed linen and towels changed regularly.
5. Beach. Indeed, very close to the hotel, and it is very pleasant to walk along the alley along other hotels and shops. The beach is clean and good. Normal bar, shower, toilet present. From the animation on the beach, we saw only volleyball. A beach boy for a small tip will always help you bring sun loungers and a table (there were always enough for everyone). We have never seen many people on the beach. I liked the sea, clean.
6. Those who use the AI system are entitled to pleasant bonuses - a visit to the 1001 Nights show with dinner, a visit to the local museum, a hammam, Carthage Land. Everything is free.
7. We took two excursions - a two-day trip to the Sahara (be sure to go! Super! ) and Tunis-Carthage-Sidi Bou Said, also not bad. They themselves went to the medina of Nabeul for dishes. We also advise you to go to the marina to take pictures and just take a walk, it is very nice there, beautiful yachts))).
What did not like:
1. Annoying merchants in the shops of the hotel. Those who are going to standard rooms, get ready! )) you will have to constantly pass through the bazaar. For the same reason, it is very noisy at night. The owners of suites can relax)).
2. Of all the payphones in the hotel, only one works on the strength, and even then not always. Therefore, it is better to purchase a local sim card or Travel-sim.

I want to leave a review about the hotel, because it deserves it. We rested with a friend for 6 days, it’s not enough to visit everything and explore this hotel) The ALL system includes free access to an amusement park with a mini-zoo and attractions, throughout the rest, 2 museums that are inside: Museum of the History of Tunisia with a guide , who knows history well and is a fan of his craft, as well as 1001 nights, a wax museum, as well as watching a movie about Tunisia, it’s worth a visit) An excellent SPA salon run by a professional, an excellent chiropractor, I also liked the anti-cellulite massage, I just recommend visiting ! Food is something special) every day dish of the day) mixed cuisine. yogurts, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, toasts, croissants, pancakes, fruits, salads, several types of fish and meat, as well as mussels, octopuses, shrimp and much, much more, sweets, cakes, pizza, their dough is amazing, drinks are quite worthy, several types of coffee in the bar at the reception, water at any time, chilled, no need to buy extra. The staff does not speak Russian, but tries to learn by communicating with tourists. Very attentive and responsive to all comments and suggestions. Moving around the hotel, meeting the staff, you will always be greeted and asked about your mood for today) Animation is present. Gymnastics, water polo, volleyball, evening programs. There is a disco bar open to everyone. Restaurants with live music, though local) but exotic. Also, ALL includes a visit to the Scheherazade restaurant with a show program, you need to sign up for a visit in advance at the reception. Inside there is a market, you can buy various souvenirs, of course, this is a tradition, bargaining!!! ! I must say, an entertaining activity)) do not be afraid to bring down the price several times !! ! : ) The rooms are very spacious, with a kitchen, separate bedrooms and bathrooms, a living room with sofas, a TV and a terrace. Room cleaning every day with change of towels. We left a tip of 2 dinars, every day we saw new figurines made of towels and fresh flower petals on a made bed, a trifle, but nice) In general, form your own impression of the country, and you will be satisfied with the hotel! I recommend!! !

Review:
We stayed at this hotel from August 29 to September 7.2010. Flight Transaero with a delay of 2.5 hours. Transfer to the hotel about 1.5 hours with a short excursion from guides about Tunisia. The hotel is listed by tour agents as a five, and there it costs like a four, since it’s not even the second, but the third line, the beach is three roads away, but it’s not far, about five minutes on foot, there are no hotels on the first line. A hotel for a quiet and unfussy vacation, for evening walks along the promenade along other hotels. Children will be bored there. The hotel was chosen within our means, we traveled with children (if you can still call them 18 and 20 years old). The room was reserved Junior Suite - (50 m). Residence Diar Lemdina is a city within a city built in the style of a medieval castle.
It is part of the "New Medina" - a complex built in the style of a medieval city with a lively market. It consists of three hotels: EL BOSTEN, ERRIADH, SIDI BOU SAID (Luxury apartments), each of which is like a separate city. The territory of the hotel is guarded. We really enjoyed our vacation! The territory is large, you can swim in the pool and sit in cafes, and walk around the shops, but these shops were so tired by the end of the rest that we tried not to go there. The hotel has two swimming pools, one is small, and the other is large and beautiful, but where a large pool is settled not by Russians, only by imports, animations take place there every day. Our rooms were large, a kitchen with a stove, a refrigerator and all the bells and whistles (toaster, coffee maker, kettle and dishes), two rooms, one bedroom, and the second is large for relaxation. The cleaning of the rooms is excellent, the linen was changed every day, although it was possible not to change so often. For cleaning left every day for 2 dinars.
Excursions were interesting, especially in the Sahara for 2 days. Were still in the Phrygia park. The food is normal, if you have no strong claims, you will like everything. There are a lot of fruits, for breakfast, in addition to eggs, you can still find a lot of things and salads and sausages and mashed potatoes, melons and watermelons, muesli and yogurts. No complaints about the staff either. My son went to a nightclub in the evening. There is a Bravo shopping center nearby, we went there for beer (although we got into Ramadan, alcohol was sold there, but only for tourists). In the evenings you can take a walk, ride horse carts. Since we went on all inclusive, all of the drinks for us were free. The beach is clean, but the sellers of fruits and cigarettes were very annoying, they are terribly foolish, it is better not to get involved. On the pelage of drinks, only bottled water, plastic and cola in glasses for free, bottled beer for 2.5 and 3 dinars.
The weather was lovely at first, there was no wind, the sea was clear, but then it rained for 2 days, the sea was stormy before our departure, but it was still hot, although there was wind. Bottled water 0.5 can be taken on the beach and reception as much as you want - for free. The satellite shows only the first channel, through Ukraine. Maybe I forgot to write, then ask, I will answer.
All in all, I loved it and didn't want to leave!

Yes, and adults enjoyed riding on the swings plenty. We have all the entertainment and visits to attractions included in the price. So go as long as you like. There is also a water park, but paid, the money is not very expensive. They went to the sea. We went for 2 days to the Sahara desert. We took home the sand in a bottle, it is fine as dust. Stock up on water when you go. She won't be redundant. The trip is a little tiring. but I'm very happy that I went. In the morning we had breakfast and went down to the pool, then we had lunch and on the beach, then we went to the amusement park and went around the city. I bought ceramic dishes with beautiful patterns, dates (they are the most delicious in Tunisia), and souvenirs. Of course, 7 days is very little. There are so many interesting things there that we didn't go to bed until 1 am. The cuisine is delicious. Every day watermelons, melons. peaches, plums, apples. The hotel is mostly foreigners. The bar has delicious Lavazzio coffee. I got henna tattoos on my body. It's common there. Very impressive and beautiful to look at. We enjoyed our trip and want to go there again!

November is not the best time to travel to Tunisia, but the circumstances were such that there was no choice. I flew from Odessa with Turkish Airlines with an overnight stay in Istanbul at the expense of the airline - by the way, a good option if you are not in a hurry - Turkish Airlines is very organized in this regard - you wait at the counter for 20 minutes - then you take the airline bus to the hotel (on the way back the hotel was nearby with the Blue Mosque and a view of the Bosphorus, it was possible to walk around the city, sleep, have breakfast and fly home in the morning, having visited two countries. … More ▾ November is not the best time to travel to Tunisia, but the circumstances were such that there was no choice. Why not? ) Tunisia smelled of autumn, although it was freezing for only 2 days, and the rest of the days were so warm and sunny, that it was great to sunbathe and walk with short sleeves, some even went swimming, but this is too much. The road to the hotel did not seem beautiful - everything was somehow dusty and withered, but the coast was in green palm trees, ripe dates falling from them and a clean beach with blue water, restaurants and cafes, clean and pleasant around. The first line from the sea in Tunisia, not like in Tutsia on the very shore - all the same, across the road from the beach. Our hotel was on the second line, with its own beach, and it took about 5 minutes to walk along a good wide road. Too bad it's not in season. . . Although it turned out to get a tan and breathe the sea air. Excursions are all 2-day by bus with an overnight stay - to the Sahara, those who traveled were delighted, but we did not have time for a two-day trip. I liked the hotel, or rather the apartments, but it's better to live in the main building. It was great to stay in an apartment - entrance hall, bedroom, kitchen, refrigerator, two bathrooms. At first it was cool, because they turn on the air conditioner for heat only from November 15, and then apparently the administration decided not to freeze the tourists and turn it on earlier. All-inclusive accommodation is possible, but it is possible only on the basis of breakfast, the food was varied and tasty, I especially liked the Tunisian cakes in the morning - it was just great and extremely tasty. That's just fruits, vegetables and sweets were not enough, the rest of the dishes were in a huge assortment. The hotel looks like a small fortress with its own bazaar, streets, restaurants, you seem to be in the old town and at the same time in a European-class hotel. Cleaning of the apartments, change of linen every day. We talked with tourists from more "cool" hotels, and were glad of our choice - and the service we had was better and we felt at home. Tunisians are polite and smiling people, not very annoying, but you can’t give them a reason to sell you something, otherwise they won’t leave you. We bought flip flops, ottomans, a camel leather bag in a store where they don’t stick, but let people walk around and think, I wear flip flops ($ 25) for the whole summer - comfortable, soft and pretty - and I think about whether to return back for the next ones....

The child is our 3rd member of the family, we hope she will be interested there. Of course, I want to know in more detail what we should take, what currency is there, we didn’t include food, we decided to eat ourselves, that’s the question: where is the opportunity for inexpensive and tasty food, what purchases can be made (I'm just a terrible clothes-maker), souvenirs to buy (a lot of friends and relatives).
