I was with my husband from July 26 to August 5. The first time we were in a 3 * hotel, before that we were in Turkey and Egypt in hotels of a higher level. You need to be prepared for the fact that they don’t give out beach towels in a three-ruble note - take it with you. The territory is large enough, but, in principle, from any room no more than 5 minutes to go to the reception. According to the location, about 1.5 hours from the airport, it is, in principle, not tiring to drive. From the hotel to the Medina, at least the new one, even the Old one, can be reached for 4 dinars (80 rubles), you can walk to the New Medina along the beach - 20 minutes at a calm pace, but it’s better to walk early in the morning - as it will be hard to walk in the heat during the day. The service is unobtrusive, especially surprising in street vendors. In Turkey or Egypt, they can almost drag you by the hand to the store so that you buy something from them. In Tunisia, until you yourself come up and show that you are interested in something, no one will impose anything on you.

The food is good: there is always a choice, but I cannot say that there is variety.

I was pleased with the abundance of fruits - peaches, plums, watermelons, melons, apricots, apples, pears - the fruits are just super - juicy!! ! For me, this was the main thing. There was always food for the husband too: there was always meat: beef, goat or chicken. Because of the goat meat (or rather its smell), I only ate meat 2 times when I made sure with my husband that there was no smell from the meat (I have a very strong sense of smell), and so I ate chicken, fish, seafood were (squid and stewed octopuses), garnish with rice, pasta, potatoes (when given boiled, look carefully when you take it, it was undercooked 4-5 times). Salads, as in Turkey and Egypt, they don’t know how to cook - all kinds of crap that is incompatible for a Russian person, cut into large pieces. It is better to take vegetables or salads separately, in which it is clear what ingredients they are made of.
I never tried couscous - the appearance is somehow repulsive - a huge vat of millet, and there are also potatoes, chicken, in my opinion, also fish and all sorts of vegetables. In general, for an amateur : )

The rooms are excellent - you can see everything in the photo. There is no TV in the room and there is no refrigerator either - for a fee. But, to be honest, the absence of the above things was not noticed. You can take cold water from the bar in bottles until 24-00. Wine is poured not from barrels, but from bottles. I liked the local whiskey, the wine is delicious both white and red, I even liked white more, although I usually prefer red wine, the beer is good, but you won’t get drunk with it, even if you drink a lot.

The animation is good, but there is nothing in Russian, and very rarely something is translated into English, mainly into French (since Tunisians study two state languages at school: French and Arabic, and in addition, they mostly know German, few people speak English knows at a very low level).
But, in general, the animation is interesting, you could listen to live music, watch some performances and club dances, during the day, as usual, gymnastics, archery, beach volleyball and other things that every hotel has. From paid entertainment: a banana - 10 dinars (200 rubles), a parachute - 25 dinars (500 rubles). We did not go on excursions - it was hot. People praised the boat trip with a pirate show, a trip to the zoo again with a show after visiting the zoo.

There were about 600 people in the hotel, 25 of them were Russians, the bulk were Germans (70-80%), there were French, Italians, as well as Serbs, Poles, Czechs and other representatives of Eastern Europe. The beach is super - the photo shows how clean and transparent the sea is - the beach is cleaned, but there are cigarette butts and even glass - there are enough freaks and not only among Russians, but also Germans - they put out cigarette butts directly into the sand, and not ashtrays that are under every umbrella.
For those who travel according to the all inclusive system, mattresses (made of leatherette) are free on the beach, which can be laid on the sand or chairs in which you will be in a semi-sitting position - both, in principle, are convenient. You can take a deck chair with a mattress for 2.5 dinars per day. When bargaining, divide prices by 10 and stand your ground - the seller seems to think and then come to you himself - these are those who walk along the beach. But the shops also have to haggle. The hotel is not luxury, but it is 3*. For 3 * - this is an ideal value for money - for eleven days we paid 3.000 rubles for two all-inclusive. The only complaint I had was to wash dishes - they are not always clean.
