We were at the Yasmine Beach 5 * hotel in 2008 in July. The climate in Hammamet is peculiar, hot during the day, cool in the evenings, even windbreakers were occasionally worn, but this is much better than humidity.
The rooms are large and spacious, although the furniture is a bit shabby. In the bathroom, they found some insects of a local batch, similar to cockroaches. I saw a cockroach on the back of a chair in a restaurant. Most vacationers take this calmly. For me, this is CRITICAL, especially in places where food is taken!!!
I really didn’t like the moment that the Arabs with their families, who come to the sea for the weekend, swim in the sea in clothes (women). On the beach, stray dogs, very large, were running around, who were heartily fed with cakes by compassionate grandmothers, the task of grandmothers, in fact, is to protect the rest of babies. In my opinion, UNSANITATION!!!

The food at the hotel is quite varied, but the quality of cooking is a moot point. There were dirty glasses and plates. The hotel was completely full, maybe that's the reason.
Regarding the excursion to Carthage, I fully agree with those who have already left their reviews. A very noisy noisy guide, who is difficult to understand, since his Russian language is not perceived by the ear.
I wouldn't rate this hotel 5*, only 4*.
In general, it's not bad. But in Europe (Italy, Greece, Bulgaria) - better. Although "there are no comrades for the taste and color"!
