This year we were in Hammamet, Les Orangers 4 * hotel. Rest, hotel, as well as the weather were satisfied.
The hotel is located at the end of the shopping street just in the middle between the old and new Medina. The territory is well-groomed, very green, a lot of different birds that sing all the time and cats : ). Almost like a cat farm. On the territory there is a stable where you can ride horses or feed them. There is also an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, mini-laundry, gym, courts, archery, hammam and mini-sauna. There is a disco, although we did not go there. every day evening animation with live music.
We got a room in a new building overlooking the garden. Furniture and equipment were practically new. The only drawback is that our room did not have a balcony. They cleaned the room well. Always added cosmetics and soap. There were also slippers and bathrobes in the room.
The beach is sandy and the water is clear. There were enough sunbeds on the beach for everyone - they are brought by beach-boys.
It is worth noting that the depth begins behind the buoys, which are about 40 meters away : ). So there are all the conditions for relaxing with children - this was noted by Russian-speaking vacationers with whom we talked - the children splashed in the shallows all day : ). The beach is cleaned from algae - there was something to compare - the beach at this hotel was one of the cleanest in the area.
The hotel has a main restaurant, a beach restaurant and several bars and cafes. The food was good, although some thought it was monotonous: yes, every day, for example, 10-15 types of salads and snacks for dinner, several side dishes, several types of meat and fish, a lot of fruits and sweets, 5-6 varieties of cheese : ). For example, I ate something new every day and I was not tired of the food - why all the time to gain a little bit of all the salads - of course I'll get bored : ). Service in restaurants is normal, they always leave a tip.
Service at the hotel is also at a high level.
The only thing that the staff does not know Russian is that they had to communicate in French. Although the waiters are learning Russian, asking how this and that will be : ).
I advise this hotel for lovers of a lazy beach holiday and for families with children. My wife and I were super happy with our vacation : )
