Rested with his wife and child 5.9 years from 30.08 to 13.09. 2009. In general, I liked it very much and the hotel fully justifies its 4 stars. Host of the Express Tour.
A few words about the Express Tour and their excursions. Upon arrival, they put us on a bus and drove to the hotel without an accompanying guide. The representative of the Express Tour stopped by just to inform the meeting time with the guide at the hotel, which, by the way, she mixed up : -). Not a problem for me, but for first timers it can be a problem. Excursion to Phrygia Zoo with dinner and Zulu dancing. The guide girl Natasha met us at the entrance to the zoo, gave us a diagram of the zoo for self-examination, appointed a time and place to meet, and...didn't come. It’s good that the queue for the restaurant is such that it’s impossible to pass by without noticing (by the way, there is a small zoo in the neighboring Tapsus hotel, as well as a zoo 500 meters from the hotel towards the center. You can feed animals there - children like it).
But on excursions to the Sahara and Tunisia-Carthage, the guides were just excellent - I recommend it.

Room - settled in the 6th building on the second floor (no surcharge, did not ask for anything). 6 case for some reason is considered the best. I was also in the room of the central building - it differs in layout, but it's the same. But in the central building, buses with tourists will wake up at night if the windows face the corresponding side. Our room was large enough and comfortable. Near the entrance there is a small room for children with two beds, then a corridor with a bathroom and then a large room with a double bed and access to the balcony. The safe costs 2 dinars per day, but for some reason you need to open it with two keys that you need to carry with you, although the design of the safe allows you to use a combination of numbers.
The beach is clean and wide. But by 10 am there is a problem with empty seats. There are no complaints about the sea : -) The depth starts behind the buoys - 20 meters from the shore.
Food - quite normal (do not forget that it is 4 stars). There is meat, fish is a problem. You can dine at the snack bar on the street near the amphitheater. By the beginning of dinner there are always a lot of people and therefore queues. Juices are really concentrated, but what did you expect? I do not agree that the beer is diluted - it is simply low-alcohol in nature : -)

The service is slightly limping on one leg, but this is probably a national feature. The staff is friendly and they try hard. But there are incomprehensible misunderstandings. For example, they did not want to fill the minibar. In general, not much and it was necessary.

Souvenirs can be bought not far from the hotel in shops with fixed prices (if you go outside the hotel, then 200 meters to the left), but there is not much to choose from - their hands do not grow from there. I was pleased with the watches of various famous clothing brands and all for 10 dinars : -)
It's better to buy a drink in a dutik.

Of those wines that the guide advised during a trip to the Sahara, only Sidi Saad 15.5 euros for two bottles and Magon Vieux for 7.7 euros, as well as Thibarine liqueur for 9.5 euros, were found in the dutik. In General, during Ramadan, alcoholic drinks are not sold.
You can get to Medina by taxi for 3 dinars.

Summing up, I want to say that the rest in Tunisia is very cool. Suffer those who expect that they will run after him, kiss him in the ass and ask what else they want : -)
