I ended up in Tunisia, one might say, by accident. I planned either to Bulgaria or Greece, but the vacation was given only at the end of September and a friend from the travel agency advised Tunisia and this hotel. If we exclude the beginning and end of the holiday - the hotel really liked. Very friendly staff. They always try to understand you, and with my 3 English and their 2 Russian words, they always managed to explain themselves. Large clean rooms, beautiful grounds, a gorgeous beach, lots of pools, incl. with water slides that both adults and children can ride. I was pleased that lifeguards are always on duty both on the beach and in the pool with slides - I have never seen them anywhere in Turkey. A lot of vegetables are not boiled, fried, stewed, but baked. There have always been Tunisian dishes. Plenty of pasta and pizza - there are a lot of Italians in the hotel.
When we checked in, we were given a room not in a bungalow. Alas, right under the window there was a stage for night shows. There are no double-glazed windows on the windows - just single panes. We arrived at 9 pm (in Moscow - 12 am), the child (5 years old) just fell asleep on the go, because. We always put him to bed at 21.00 Moscow time. However, at 10 pm (1 am Moscow time) they started the show and for another two hours the child was crying and could not fall asleep under those howls that were heard under our window. At the request to change the room, we were told that they would first move those who were settled in a bungalow, and if there were free rooms, then they would move us. As a result, we spent 3 sleepless nights there, until the representative of the travel agency through which we took tickets went to the hotel management (Masha - thank you so much !!! ).
Since we arrived not in the high season, alas, there was no children's menu. It was a problem for me to find chicken dishes, the abundance of which is constantly scolded by Turkish hotels. For veal, which is in abundance there, the child has a food allergy, pork was rare, and the child could not always chew lamb. If there was a chicken, it was most often cooked in some kind of sauces.

The room was cleaned well, even the single beds were pushed aside and cleaned under them. However, I was very confused by the towels in the bathroom. If something is wrong with my sense of smell, if their powder has such a specific smell, but when I took it to wipe my face like a clean, ironed towel, it simply stank of the old smell of sweat. I took the second one - a faint smell of powder, slightly concealing the same unpleasant smell. The third towel - normal - they used it. I cannot explain this nonsense.
Also in the room there is a huge safe and adjustable air conditioning (when it got cold during the rains, I even put it on heating). Free. If you want to switch the TV with a remote control, then it is taken on bail. Beach towels are also on deposit, for which you need to pay 0.5 drachmas (1 dollar + 1.8 drachmas). Large balcony with very high handrails.
Weather: it rained for a day and a half, the sea was a little stormy for 4 days. The rest of the time the weather was sunny and a cool wind was blowing.
Since I start the morning with freshly brewed natural coffee, I took a kettle with me. The socket came up.
In the evening, on my DR, I received a gift from the hotel - a huge cake.
At the end of the trip, the child and I miraculously poisoned ourselves. On the night before departure, the child's temperature jumped to 39, with vomiting, I felt sick and my stomach hurt wildly. Honestly, I'm not sure if it's because of the food at the hotel, because. the only thing in common that both the child and I ate was ice cream, and if not all, then most of the vacationers consumed it. Although, when we were driving back, one married couple also complained of enteritis. The insurance company "Help" worked well - thanks to them for that. The fact that the doctor took a long time to get there and arrived half an hour before the departure of our bus, this is already a problem on the part of local companies. The doctor spoke excellent Russian, very polite and attentive. He immediately gave me some medicine to drink and also took a few pills with me on the plane.
Summary: if I go to this hotel again, I will choose a tour where the planes arrive at the airport, which is closer to Mahdia (or order a personal transfer). In the city I will not buy anything edible at all (there was a very suspicious lollipop, perhaps they were grassed). If they offer a room above the stage again, then I'd rather spend the night on their sofas near the reception - it's quieter there than it was in our room : ))

I will refrain from the recommendation, although if we exclude the listed negative, we had a good rest, we liked the hotel. A very decent 4-ka for a reasonable price.
