After reading all the previous reviews, I went to Tunisia in a bad mood and like going to war, expecting theft, harassment, dirty towels and so on. But everything turned out to be very, very good. There are many good things to say about Dolphin. It is located in the heart of the city of Monastir, all attractions are within 5-10 minutes walk. You can walk around the city even in the evening - it's okay . . Crime in Tunisia is very low, except perhaps for theft, although nothing was stolen from us personally. There is garbage on the streets, but not everywhere, there are also clean places, and the garbage did not bother me (the rats did not run and there was no stench) . .
I advise you to definitely visit the Ribat fortress, the mausoleum, the port (Marina), and also just walk around the center. It's very nice there. . The architecture of the city is very beautiful, oriental, arches, balconies, all in blue and white.
For a chocolate bar, we were given a room overlooking part of the city and part of the sea (by the way, they love chocolate and sweets very much))) You have to pay for a full view of the sea - 10 dinars a day, which is 7 dollars.

Ask for rooms on the 3rd floor and above (we had the third one). . . The balcony is very large, the room is spacious, very good mattresses and pillows, all the furniture is ok, even if not new. Linen is clean, towels changed every day and cleaned clean. But take shampoo and gel with you. . Conditioner
The territory of the hotel is beautiful, good pools, slides. Very friendly staff, everyone greets and smiles widely, and sincerely. In general, people in Tunisia are very warm (when compared with Ukrainians : )) If you don’t know other languages besides Russian, then there may be problems, but if you know at least English, all your problems can be quickly resolved . .
A lot of foreigners have a rest.
The food is varied, tasty, not peppery, except for a couple of dishes.
I didn’t like only drinks - there were no juices at all, the tea was semi-cold, and my stomach hurt from Tunisian water. I advise you to make tea in the lobby, there is real boiling water in the cooler, but not in the dining room. .
I personally did not like the animators, narcissistic and boorish, but they are not for everyone - some were delighted with them.
The sea is wonderful, warm, clean, very beautiful color of aquamarine. I want to give advice to go to the beach to the left of the pier - it also belongs to the Dolphin, and the garbage that is on the yarn on the right does not float there, because there is, as it were, a bay, and the sea is more open on the left. Also, a jellyfish can sting you - I was stung several times, but if you spread it with a tomato, then everything goes away right away. Try not to swim in the algae - jellyfish hang out there : ))
The beach isn't perfectly clean, but that didn't bother me. One day even local schoolchildren came and cleaned the beach.
As for shopping, I didn’t like it in the market (Medina), where the sellers grab your hands if you don’t buy a thing and don’t let you leave. This is unpleasant. . It is better to buy in a store (Yasmina shopping center). Nobody bothers you there and there are a lot of beautiful things. We liked copper products the most - these are their local products, very, very beautiful . . Prices are lower than in Turkey . . For example, a hookah in a cafe costs 2 dollars (in Kyiv - 10 minimum).

The local population did not bother me, although we walked without men. Normal, very friendly people, not "savages" at all, as some people write. Of course, you don’t have to wear shorts or tight T-shirts, and everything will be ok. Some Tunisians speak English very well . . I personally didn’t have any incidents with the locals, on the contrary, very, very warm people...
The weather was good almost all the time - sunny, warm sea. One day, however, there was a thunderstorm and a downpour . . But in general, October is very comfortable . .
From excursions I liked Tunis-Carthage and Phrygia. But the zoo was given only 1 hour 15 minutes, although you can walk there for half a day. Adorable animals - meerkats, lemurs, mongooses, gazelles, turtles, kangaroos, tigers, very beautiful area. Animals in enclosures, not in cages. The north of Tunisia is greener, there are even mountains.
Although even on the plane we heard dissatisfied tourists, but we were very pleased ! ! I will definitely visit Tunisia again!
