The road from the airport took 15 minutes. In my practice, this is a record.
In fact, the hotel is not in the city, but in a suburban tourist area. Unlike Turkey, for example, there is simply nowhere to leave the hotel. At best, wastelands and salt lakes (read puddles). At worst, they're just landfills.
This is a minus. The advantage is that the territory is well and preferably guarded and no one will enter the hotel without bracelets. Security also helps to scare arrogant taxi drivers who practice adding a few dinars to the bill at the end and menacingly demand a new amount.

We went to the zoo. To the Sousse bus station by taxi from there by minibus. Excursions are 2.5 times cheaper. Cute and can feed almost everyone from giraffe to kangaroo.
