Were 10 days in September 2019. We booked for almost six months, because the price was pleasant. TUI operator.
After reading reviews about the hotel several times I wanted to change it after the paperwork. However, she took a chance and was not mistaken. So. . .
Territory and location

The hotel itself is farthest away in Nabeul. More than an hour drive from the airport. The nearest store is 20 minutes on foot, the city center is almost 40. The territory is large, green. A huge plus is the most, that neither is, the first line. From the balcony of the room to the beach 20 meters, and right next to a large swimming pool. The downside is that both the hotel and the territory are unkempt. That is, everything as a whole is not bad, but there are small details (a letter that has fallen off on a sign, or a small speck on a tile, etc. ) that could be easily eliminated, but no one deals with them. And the general impression is that no one cares about this. However, there are maids, they try to clean everything (cups, cups, garbage), but not always thoroughly.
Number
Small with a balcony. Large bed, table, chair, mirror, two nightstands and TV. The furniture is not new but in good condition. There is no refrigerator. Air conditioning under the ceiling, a switch for it on the wall. To change the temperature - you need to call the receptionist. There are no panels. And on TV too. But given that out of the 7 available channels - 3 European, 3 Arabic, and only 1 Russian (which, by the way, was mostly news, and the presenters got the impression that they had nothing to talk about except for Ukraine), which we didn't look.
The bathroom could have been better. The walls of the shower stall are stained, the toilet bowl is faulty, only soap is cosmetics (although, as it turned out, it was very good. We were able to wash the hem of the skirt with fuel oil with it). Although the towels are all in place, and hot water is always available. There are two plastic chairs on the balcony. There is no table, there is no rope for drying towels either.
Mattresses are orthopedic, comfortable, without stains. The bed is clean and white. Doesn't creak.
Beach
The hotel has two beaches - on the right and on the left. One has umbrellas, the other doesn't. There were plenty of sun loungers and plenty of space. Entry into the sea is smooth. Although the sea we got cold. There is a lifeguard, and when people ventured to swim in a storm, he followed them very carefully. Generally clean, no rubbish. A few algae bring waves, but they do not interfere with rest and have no smell. There are toilets and showers next to the beach. As well as a small container for washing feet from sand.
Swimming pool
Big. Clean and deep. Every morning it is cleaned and bleach is carefully poured out. The water is running, so it is quite cold. There are few sunbeds, there are chairs and tables. There is a separate paddling pool for children.
Nutrition

As for the trio - very, very good. Meat and fish were daily. There are plenty to choose from. Standard buffet, but everything was enough, no one left hungry. Everything is delicious, sometimes a little spicy. Chicken, pork, ribs, cream soups, vegetables of all kinds, a dozen different salads, fruits. Of the sweets, there were several types of cakes, small, but very tasty.
There were no problems with water and drinks. At the bar they asked for water - each time they gave 0.5 liters per person. No matter how many times you ask, they will always give. Coffee, tea - the same. In the restaurant itself, coffee / tea is available only in the morning, then only drinks like "yupi" and cola. Local alcohol is not particularly "ice", but you can drink.
Animation
A team of 6 people tried to their fullest. Every day up to a dozen different events, every evening something new (fakir show, cabaret, Miss Hotel, etc. ) Enticed and talked to everyone, but what was very pleasant, unobtrusive. You say "no", ok. They don't come up anymore. No one was forced, but always smiling, always polite. One of the best animations I've ever seen.
Hotel guide
Girl Daria. She told everything in an accessible way, warned about the dangers, told about the excursions and promptly resolved all the issues that arose. I also exchanged money for local (dinars) at the rate of 2.8 per dollar. Let me tell you, don't change too much. You can’t take them out, but spending them in Nabeul not on clothes is problematic. She also spoke about the tourist tax from each tourist. It was unexpected, but 10 dollars didn't do the trick.
Helped to buy and set up a local SIM card (no Wi-Fi) - $11 for 3 GB of Internet. Roaming, as it turned out, is very expensive.
Mosquitoes deserve a special mention. This is horror. Take with you repellents, fumigators, aroma lamps - whatever. They will not let you sleep, and will bite you from head to toe.
We did not use spa procedures at the hotel (there is such a thing there), we went on recommendations to another hotel. Liked.
The hotel also has an additional cafe, which is not included in the meal plan. You can order pizza and drinks there, but we didn't try. However, next to it are lovely benches overlooking the sea, and we used them often)

Overall a solid 4 hotel. They do a lot, or almost everything, but they do not promise attention to the little things, which spoils the overall picture. They understand English, French and Arabic. Russian through the word. There is no safe in the rooms, we took it at the reception. 4 dinars per day, minimum 3 days. A safe from the times of the NKVD, but coped with its role. ))
I liked everything, but the second time I will not come here.
