We went in 2009, but I don't think much has changed since that time. That's how our adventures began. . . The bus dropped us off at the door of the hotel - we went in and started to make out. We sit and fill out paperwork in English. Suddenly, a rude administrator runs up, takes away papers and pens from us and, in his Tunisian-English accent, explains to us that no one is going to accommodate us, either there are no places, or something else... We are in a panic, a stranger country, they stick out of the hotel, there is no guide nearby, nothing at all. grabbed the phones, started calling Moscow. and suddenly they return the papers to us with the same dissatisfied face and seem to be settled. When checking in, they offered to pay extra for the view from the window, we refused. In general, money is really as soon as they do not try to pull it out of you. When leaving, for example, we were presented with a huge bill supposedly for using the phone. We are already late for the airport, the bus is waiting for us, but they don’t let us out of the reception - pay for the phone! Again, stress. Butted for 45 minutes with them, as a result, in English we were forced to write a refusal to pay. It seems that it all ended, but the mood has noticeably worsened. And if one of us picked up the receiver of this phone at least once!! ! so we even hardly remembered where he stood with us!
The rooms themselves, of course, could be better, but in general - not very repulsive. Pretty clean, towels are really taken away and not returned clean when cleaning. Everything is so ancient in the rooms, as if he had come somewhere in the past)) The food is on the level. They weren't hungry. We had two meals a day - it was enough for us. There are few fruits, but in local stores we bought them during the day for a penny.
The territory is cool, large, green, the pool is quite large. Animators are good. Entertained both in the morning and in the evening.

But the beach leaves much to be desired. The beach is surrounded by breakwaters, so it is completely littered with algae. Very unpleasant. In the morning they are still somehow cleaned, but after two hours - the same thing, and during the day the beach, in my opinion, is not cleaned at all. Small in size, rather tight. With annoying Arabs.
Of the benefits - infrastructure. There are places to walk in the evening. The most beautiful port. A lot of shops, an amusement park right in front of the hotel, and the center of Sousse can be reached within 15 minutes by taxi for a moderate fee. True, in the center there is a rather depressing picture - many shops with cheap smelly shoes, many, many locals who look at you like kites, and VERY STINK. Very dirty. Sewerage - external, flows along the roads - a terrible sight. Here is such a center. But it's worth looking at it)))) So I don't advise you to take hotels in the center of Sousse.
In general, we liked the rest, but we first of all know how to entertain ourselves. We made friends with a local boy and even managed to go to his family for a wedding))) We looked at the Tunisian outback and local wedding traditions, so to speak. impressions - the sea)) True, it's scary)) There are three of us, and there are two hundred of them. The children ran up to us, touched us with their fingers and ran away)))) In general, they were in the center of attention of the locals)))
We still keep in touch with them. )
This is such a journey.
You can find as many cons as you like anywhere. The main thing is to be able to rest. This hotel does not interfere with the ability to relax
