Hello everybody!
Rested in El Mouradi Club Selima during 12-23.09. 2010. I hasten to share my recent impressions.
In general, I really, really liked it!

-territory. Huge, beautiful, green. The main part is occupied by 2-storey residential houses, there are only about 58 of them, it seems. Each has 10 rooms (rooms). There are with and without balconies on the first and second floor, that's how lucky. But the view from each house is very picturesque: palm trees, olive trees, tall shrubs blooming with lovely flowers, etc. All well-groomed, impressive. Very nice central alley. Only here is an amazing thing - there is no grass: just plowed, beautifully laid land, but for some reason lawns are not provided. Who was not asked from the locals, no one could explain why. The main part of the facilities, located almost by the sea, includes a central building with a reception, a hall, a restaurant, a bar, as well as a platform with tables where you can just sit during the day or where you can watch evening shows, an animation scene, their radio room, swimming pools, tennis courts , for squash and other sports grounds. Everything is green too.
Sometimes it was a little pity that the largest area goes under the so-called residential complex. It would be possible to build more facilities for recreation and sports on this territory, for example, by enlarging residential buildings. But then it would no longer be a club hotel, apparently . .
Here is a football field and a boccia platform for the first time I found it with difficulty. It’s good that one animator kindly explained, and even then I wasn’t sure that I was going right: you need to go around the restaurant, go along a narrow street along the fence that separates the beach from the restaurant area leading to the utility rooms, and to the right of these rooms there is a platform for boccia, playground and soccer field.
- numbers. Small. But they are clean, and there is everything you need: a bed, a wardrobe, a table, bedside tables, a TV, an ottoman, an air conditioner, for the remote control of which you need to leave a deposit of 15 dinars, but in September it was no longer very hot, so without it you can, I suppose, manage (I managed; ) no problem. But it was not very convenient to ventilate, especially at night: on the first night I could not understand what was happening: it seemed that someone was persistently trying to break the door from the outside - it turned out to be just a draft . . You can not pay attention, of course, but at first was uneasy. During the absence in the room, the representative of our tour operator advised to close the window just in case.
There was no theft in my room, and I did not hear that someone was stolen from someone on the territory or on the beach. Although still on the beach, if you are alone, it is better not to take valuables. I didn’t use the safe, I just put valuables in a suitcase that was locked with a lock. But sometimes you had to leave something valuable in the bedside tables buried in other things, but no one rummaged through anything.
Cleaned well every day.

- staff. The waiters, cleaners are very friendly, smiling, neat.
-reception. We arrived at 11:30 in the morning, I was immediately given the keys to a clean and fragrant room with local scents, no problems at all. True, the house was 52, it is almost at the end, but for me it does not matter, on the contrary, it is pleasant to walk along the sunny alley among flowers and shrubs once again. And are you afraid to be late somewhere? We're on vacation!
- restaurant / food. You can eat on the territory almost always from 6 to 21 or even until 23 o'clock, it seems (I read in a pizzeria evening snacks should be issued after 21, but I just didn't take it). In addition to the main meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner - a pizzeria is open at certain times, you can drink coffee with various sweets, and bars that dispense water, sodas, juices, tea, coffee are open until 23 hours. It's impossible to stay hungry. The food is varied and delicious. Everyone will find something to eat, there is food for every taste: salads, stewed vegetables, stewed potatoes, rice, various fish, chicken, and other meats. There is always fresh delicious bread. Very good pastries and various other sweets: halva, jams, puddings… sometimes huge cakes are baked for dinner in the form of a ship or a football field: these are real works of art! There are fruits (apples, plums, pears, peaches (very good), melons, watermelons, sometimes dates).
- beach / sea. Very pleasant and clean. The beach is monitored, cleaned, guarded. The sand is white and pleasant. "Places in the sun" is always enough - at least during the period when I was resting. It is not necessary to borrow sunbeds from the very early morning. It is better to bring towels with you from home (I saw that sometimes people took from the rooms, but in general this is not allowed, as far as I heard), and towels for the beach are not given out. Sunbeds on the beach are only recumbent (sorry for the tautology). Unlike sun loungers by the pools. The pools, by the way, are also good, there are two for adults and one for children with a slide, however, the water in the pool is cool - colder than in the sea. The sea is wonderful. Clean, azure, with a convenient entrance, warm, affectionate. You can swim for both kids and adults who can swim well, if you swim away from the coast. The water almost keeps you on the surface (well, of course, not like on the Salt Lakes on an excursion to the Sahara, of course - you can’t drown there at all - it pushes you to the surface like a tumbler), but still, not a river and not even the Black Sea.

- animation. This is the most significant element. Very high level, from my point of view! Both daytime and evening. The guys are professionals. Always cheerful, joking, keeping the mood up. Stately, dexterous. They are very good at playing the sports they lead. They participate in the process and make sure that the participating tourists do not get tired and have fun during the corresponding lesson or competition, regardless of the results, intermediate and final. A couple of times I watched an evening mini-disco with the kids - the animators are very cute and touchingly busy with the kids and put on dances so that everyone participates in the process - animators and children. The club dance is cool and fun. Evening shows are also very good. When they are built in such a way that the audience participates (Miss Club Selima contest, for example), sometimes it is a little stretched and predictable. But only sometimes. And when they participate - they put on a show - the animators themselves had it - from my point of view, this is always just super, just wonderful and admirable! The performances and ideas themselves are very interesting. You are charged with energy, it is interesting to watch, you are afraid to miss something. The animators know how to dance professionally, with full dedication, beautifully, deftly and easily move around the stage and work very well together, so that the show is perceived in one breath.
If someone is going to Club Selima in the near future, although not necessarily in the near future, I have a request: please say hello and thanks to the animation team, especially the animator who leads beach volleyball at 11 am and 4 pm (at least Led during my stay there 09/12-23/2010), he still sometimes wears glasses (not sunglasses, but in general), tall, thin, as far as I heard, his name is Bobby or Bommy or something like that) - from Natalia from Russia (Moscow), who then played volleyball decisively worse than anyone : )), and whose mobile phone was stolen outside the hotel. A very friendly young man. If there is a desire and he remembers me, he can write to my e-mail (Natalya-slipchenko@yandex. ru - I will be grateful if you pass it on), I will be very glad to answer. If you say hello, write, please! )) Thank you in advance!
Also, the animator girls are very nice with the children during the day (as I understand it, children can be handed over to their parents as in kindergarten for a while - swimming in the sea or playing tennis, etc. ). With them, the girl also goes for an afternoon snack - to eat sweets. If the cub misses his mother and cries, he will be caressed).
- general remarks. Language. Of course, the Russian staff there knows little, only the most basic. But excellent German and French. And English is good, I communicated with everyone in English, I understood everything in general, but, of course, in animation programs, including evening ones, if you don’t hear a single Russian word, after a while you begin to yearn for one great -mighty. a little stressful. That tourists also speak other languages among themselves. There are few Russian vacationers, 20 percent maximum, it is always joyful to find your own. Although the Germans are also nice when you start talking to them. Almost everyone knows English.

- cats on the territory; Very cute creatures. They are beautiful, mobile, vociferous, they play with each other in the evenings - a sight to see : ). Just please don’t throw bread and other food into the doghouse standing on the territory for some reason - a pigsty is being bred.
Another small remark of this kind. I do not really advise you to go to the hotel alone or alone. Nevertheless, the hotel is designed for family holidays or company holidays. According to my feelings. I was a little uncomfortable at first. If only because in the restaurant there are not so many free tables at which no one sits. And even evening shows are watched at separate tables, mostly by companies, and again, at which no one sits, not at all. And if you find it, you feel lonely when the show is with the participation of the audience. Also, sports are mainly collective and paired. Therefore, you need to either come not alone, or get acquainted there with someone already there. Big greetings to Natalia and Larisa from Kazan, Yulia and Tanya from Moscow, Anya from St. Petersburg, Alexei from Moscow!
- as for the rest, but the hotel is no longer relevant. The territory on the street outside the hotel, how much and where you will not go, is clean, well-groomed. In general, the country is developed. High social level throughout the country. Even in the last southern villages, even in the Sahara, there are excellent roads, cellular communications, satellite TV, sewerage, hot and cold water! Education, medicine are developed, there are jobs for men and women. People are hardworking. Men are mostly pretty, but women are not very)) Religion is Islam, but the state is considered secular. The approach is very democratic in this sense. If you want, go in a veil, if you want, in a T-shirt with straps.
But I would like to warn you: you need to be careful on the streets, in souvenir shops: my mobile was stolen in Port El Kantaoui, skillfully, I didn’t feel anything at all. Guides also say that they often steal something from tourists on the streets, pickpockets are there, as elsewhere, although in general Tunisians are quite well-mannered people.

Excursions: I really liked the excursion to the Sahara: high information saturation, beautiful, exotic, interesting. And the tour Tunis-Karagen (and Sidi Bou Said) is also good. Only, it seems to me that first you need to go to Tunis-Carthage, and then to the Sahara: in increasing scale, although they are completely different.
I wish you all a great holiday and I will be glad to answer any questions.
