Good afternoon everyone!
I have never written reviews before, but this time I decided to write, because the reviews of other people about hotels in Tunisia helped a lot with the choice. Maybe my review will also tell someone and help : ).
We chose a hotel for about 2 weeks... we scoured the Internet in search of reviews from vacationers, since the vacation was long-awaited and we didn’t want to spoil it. The budget was limited to 1200 dollars for two, so we aimed at a 3 * hotel with all-inclusive meals. So we went to El Mouradi Club Selima 3 * (when we decided on the hotel, we gave a request for it to the travel agency), since there was not a single negative review on it, people wrote about all sorts of little things, but these were some trifles, to which we were not going to pay attention.

In general, the hotel is very good. Yes, not trendy and not super new (built in 1983, it seems), but very nice and large territory (like in a botanical garden. . . olives, lemons, pomegranates, palm trees, flowers grow. . . beautiful! ), you can see that the order is maintained! This means that the hotel is divided into several zones: 1 - the main building, where the reception, restaurants and entertainment area (for evening animation) are located, 2 - these are sports grounds, a tennis court, 3 zone - this is the sleeping area, where there are houses on 2 floors ( there are 51 such houses). The rooms are simple, but neat, clean, there is everything you need to relax, sleep and put yourself in order (2 beds + 1 type of folding bed, some asked to take it out, but it didn’t bother us at all; a large dressing table with a mirror, a pouffe, a large built-in wardrobe; bathroom, balcony; only a refrigerator and a hair dryer are missing). The room was cleaned every day, towels changed every day (if you don't want to be cleaned, you hang "do not disturb" on the door and no one comes in).
The food at the hotel is just great! We went on an excursion to the Sahara, talked with people who lived in 5 *, 4 * and 3 * hotels and realized that it’s a sin for us to complain about food! Every day they served different types of meat very tasty cooked in sauce, fish, shrimp, salads, fruits (peaches, melons, watermelons, plums, pears, grapes) and, of course, sweets. Various drinks such as sprite and fanta. Below is a pizzeria, restaurant "A la Carte" (you can visit for free 1 time during your stay). Basically, you can't go hungry! And it's all very tasty!
The hotel is located right on the beach, the beach is good, clean (cleaned during the day), the sea is wonderful, warm and clear. Sometimes it brought algae, but we were lucky, probably because most of our vacation they were not there at all. We did not meet jellyfish, but a couple of people shouted that they were bitten by a jellyfish... but this is not dangerous, just not pleasant. We were not interested in animation at all, as we believe that children need it more for entertainment, but it was also quite active. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel!
The only thing that I didn’t like (but this is more likely not to the hotel, but to Tunisia in general) is the Arabs - they are clingy, just like flies! The beach is full of traders who sell all sorts of rubbish, from nuts to carpets : ). And I didn’t like the fact that the city is full of garbage, it’s just awful! You drive along the highway, and heaps of construction debris are piled on both sides. We were told that this shit happened after the revolution last year.

And finally, a few tips: on arrival at the hotel, some guys advised us to give $ 20 at the reception to be settled in a normal room. We gave because we wanted a room with a balcony. But then it turned out that all the rooms have a balcony (at least most of them) and not a single room has a sea view (keep this in mind! ), So, if you give $ 20, then only in order to settle closer to the central building (that is, ask for a house up to the 30th room, as I wrote earlier, there are 51 of them - the larger the number, the farther from the center of the hotel, the canteen and the sea).
Regarding tips - yes, Tunisia is a country of tips!! ! won't move without them! In the dining room, it is customary for waiters to give at least 1 dinar every other day. Therefore, I advise you to determine for yourself one table where you will sit all the time and you can give it a couple of times for tea, see how the attitude towards you changes : ). Otherwise, you may not have enough forks, spoons, plates or even worse than a table : ).
Well, the rest is all nonsense, the main thing is a good mood! If a person is harmful in itself : ) and likes to find fault, he will find something to complain about : ).
