We rested in El Mouradi Palace 5 *. In general, the impressions are good. A very interesting and colorful country, I advise you to visit. About the hotel: of course, it doesn’t pull on the top five, mainly due to some depreciation of fixed assets (probably it has not been restored since its construction). But all the basic requirements for fives were met to one degree or another: they cleaned and linen was changed every day, the rooms are spacious, a safe, a refrigerator and TV are in the room, food - a buffet table - is plentiful and varied, there are local dishes, but mostly European kitchen (which was very suitable for us, because we were with a child of 2.5 years), drinks for dinner - paid (water 0.5 l - $ 1.8). Additionally, you can eat in restaurants in the 300-500 meter zone for $2-3 per person. By the way, even HB was enough for us, for lunch we took a few buns from a restaurant for a child (it’s forbidden, of course, but if you really want to, you can). There is also FB, the ticket costs 100 dollars more per person.
The territory is quite large (mainly due to the proximity of other hotels of the same chain and the openness of the common territory) and green (as for a desert area : ). From entertainment - everything is standard at sea (banana - $ 1.2, parachute - $ 16, etc. ), football, tennis (for a fee - $ 2.5 per racket excluding time), animation is rather weak, but enough for vacationers with a child: in the evening a children's disco, and then a show program (not really, so, time to kill), there are discos on the territory and in the city of El Kantaoui. The sea is warm, I did not see jellyfish at all, although the weather was a little cloudy, windy for almost the whole week and the sea is therefore restless.
By the way, the sea is not very clean (ours have been here enough : ), although there are more foreigners. I advise you to drive to Sousse to the local market (Medina), wander through the streets of the old quarters there - I really liked the atmosphere, and also in El Kantaoui - this is a town with a harbor artificially created by the French - beautiful. The main excursions are Carthage and the Sahara. We did not go (because with a child), but the guys were in Carthage ($ 50) - they say not very much, the whole day disappears, but the sensations are the same as from Sousse, which is 5-7 km away. Sahara ($150) everyone really liked, but it lasts 2 full days. If you are going to buy a lot of gifts - go to Sousse to the Medina (by taxi $ 14 round trip, they go according to the meter) and the choice is larger and cheaper by 10-30% and you can bargain. And if for a couple of souvenirs, then it is better to buy in the nearest supermarkets (within a radius of 1 km there are several of them - 2 large and a bunch of small shops).

In general, I advise you to visit this country for a change, I recommend the hotel for the elderly and families with small children. For young people and outdoor activities, I advise you to find something else. In general, if you do not find fault with trifles, and after weighing the price / quality ratio, I give the hotel a solid four.
