Finally, the long-awaited day has come and having worked on the last Friday before the vacation, we gathered for documents and tickets and decided to call in advance and clarify information about readiness. Here the first entertaining news awaited us - the department is temporarily closed. the employee went on vacation and simply did not bother to warn about it (the thought immediately flashed “well, it began... ”).

In the bathroom, everything was even worse - the hair dryer was a piece of wires sticking out of the box and terminals hastily wrapped and not insulated, the nickel-plated tube above the bathroom was covered with rust, the sink flatly refused to let water into the drain and quickly filled with water.
It was decided to go to the reception and politely ask for another number. They did not understand our courtesy there and they said that an employee would help us with the problem of a clogged drain - he is also a porter who dragged our luggage a few minutes ago (both a reaper and a priest... ).
All evening we tried to get from the locals where and how we can eat - we had to figure it out ourselves.
Beach. The beach turned out to be small, about 50 meters long and 10-15 meters wide. The number of sun beds is limited and extremely small for a large hotel, those who did not have enough could choose between a place on the sand at the feet of those passing by or a nearby comfortable and paid section of the beach for only 2 dinars per person. The road from the hotel to the beach takes about 5 minutes and lies past the picturesque views of the construction site unfolded along the road with all the “charms” that follow from here.

Nutrition. The food was delicious, plentiful and varied. Service was lazy and disgusting. Tipping did not improve the situation significantly. I was struck by the "window dressing" during the visit of the authorities. It is amusing to watch how the manager of a restaurant chain in a hotel cleans up dirty dishes and “licks” customers.
Things were not very good with the weather - you can only stay on the beach until lunch, then clouds came from the north and a strong wind from the sea began, which is very cold at + 22-23. Water +21-22.
Animation. More precisely, its absence. There is NOTHING to do at the hotel in the evening. The music sounded the same all week, at least something new... In the only bar, besides the guests, there were always “guests” from the street and there weren’t enough places for everyone.
I was very struck by the attitude of the Pegasus Tourist representative. We saw it once upon arrival, promised to come the next day, waited in the lobby for about an hour, the reception said that it was. Left without excursions. We looked at representatives of other (European) companies and envied them. They came strictly on time, in corporate uniform, with a company sign, in a conspicuous place, and they wait strictly according to the reception hours, even if there is no one. I had to find out my hours of departure and departure by phone.
