Hotel ratings by criteria:
We chose this hotel deliberately, having studied the entire Internet, so we knew about all the minuses in advance.
In general, the rest was very satisfied. Yes, there are minor flaws, but we came to rest, and not spit on the sides like some.
The biggest plus of the hotel is its LOCATION: a 5-minute walk from the entertainment center. A sea of shops, cafes, an amusement park, singing fountains, a beautiful port, a botanical garden. There are golf courses not very far away - a very beautiful place with nice private villas where you can just take a walk. For young people - in the direction of Sousse, the famous disco "Boro Boro". In general, there is where to go for both adults and children.

However, lovers of "hotel" recreation, I think, will be bored. ANIMATION is just funny, those who were in Turkey, Egypt, they will understand me. Travel agencies say that this is inherent in all hotels in Tunisia, I don’t know how true it is, but it was a shame that the animators, with the exception of one, didn’t even try (how they danced the so-called “club” dances - / grinning emoticon /).
The BEACH, of course, leaves much to be desired. Although it’s not even the beach itself that bothers, but the lack of toilets and the road to it: concrete slabs flying overhead, asphalt in horseback rooms and the stench from the garbage dump. Sun loungers really need to be occupied in the morning, otherwise you will lie in the sand interspersed with bulls.
ROOMS are good with a large area. For three, we paid $ 70 extra for the apartment (through a travel agency it would have cost much more). The room has a stove with an extractor hood, a refrigerator, a sink, a kitchen cabinet. The furniture is old. CLEANING - mediocre, sometimes they forgot to throw out the trash, put toiletries, incl. paper (had to steal it from the common toilets).
NUTRITION. ALL system. I would say excellent. We rested in Egypt in 5 *, the food was much worse. Lots of vegetables, meat, fruits. Of course, there is no such abundance as (again, I repeat) in Egypt, Turkey, but everything is cooked very tasty. I was annoyed by the fact that you can’t take drinks yourself at lunch and dinner, you have to wait until a slow waiter comes up, writes down what you need, and then wait the same amount until he brings it. Of the drinks at lunch and dinner, only water, beer, wine. And we Slavs are used to drinking sweets with tea : (
Tea, coffee, juice and strong drinks could be drunk at the Americano bar.
There is no bar on the beach, or rather there is, but paid, even for "Oll". Like fools, on the first day we bought water for 2.5 dinars, although it was possible to take it in any quantity at the hotel bar.
SERVICE. Badly. Especially in the bar and restaurant. The French, Arabs, Germans, etc. are served there first of all. and only then the Russians, she herself was convinced of this. And do not say "be more polite and you will be treated the same" - NOTHING LIKE.

EXCURSIONS. Initially, they were going to the Sahara, but then regretted the time. We took excursions "Tunisia, Sidi Bou Said, Carthage", "Phrygia Zoo", "Monastir shopping tour, Sousse".
"Shopping tour" is one name, the Medina in Sousse is a different story: there is absolutely nothing to buy, and prices are 2-3 times more expensive than in the port, while every Arab tries to drag you into his shop, and some also scolding after. The center of leather products did not like the models so-so, and those that deserve attention are very expensive.
I advise you to take the tour "Tunisia, Sidi Bou Said, Carthage". Everything is beautiful and interesting)) You can buy good quality things at much lower prices in the capital (free time will be given on the tour). A very beautiful blue and white city, but do not buy souvenirs there, even when they give a "good price" - the prices are still too high. The ruins of Carthage are impressive.
I really liked the excursion to Phrygia, we, like children, ran from one animal to another. We took cookies with us and fed deer, llamas and ostriches. So many positive vibes!! ! The Zulu show really could have been cut short.
I read my review and see that there are more minuses than pluses, but this is in words (there is always something to complain about). If you came to relax, discover this beautiful country with a rich culture, and not pour angry reviews in all directions, then ENJOY YOUR REST.
PS: By the way, I read that theft is very prosperous in Tunisia, neither in this hotel nor in the port, this was noticed. Although just in case, so as not to spoil the rest, take a safe! : )
