We got into this tour out of desperation. For the first time, we decided to look for happiness on the side and refused the services of a long-established travel agency. We contacted the travel agency "Riviera" 10 days before the planned vacation. To one of its branches: http://www. diskonttur. ru/resource. aspx? id=55&ctfr=222&rg=58|0&action2=doPrice.
I would like to say simply - NO FAITH "Riviera"!!! ! They immediately took an advance payment from us for a 10-day tour and made a contract for a good hotel... But, it wasn’t there - that was it !!!! ! Neither the first time nor the second, the hotels we booked were not confirmed, despite the fact that each time the amount of the contract increased by 10 thousand rubles. Operators, in general, had little knowledge of where we were offered to go. I was especially impressed by the girl Jeanne, who executed the contract for the last, one might say, fatal time. We were already ready to refuse the tour through this operator, but in the office at Prosveshcheniya 80 we were assured that in this case our air tickets would be lost and we would not fly anywhere at all... As a result of this brainwashing, we were calculated and offered an amount of almost 88 thousand rubles for two adults and one child. Out of desperation, we agreed. Not to lose the precious vacation days, which we have been waiting for a whole year... What was our surprise when it turned out that at the time of the settlement of the contract in the Riviera company, the computer simply simply hung (as the operator Zhanna from Prosveshcheniya 80 told me), but since the amount was indicated in rubles, we had to pay it in full. The funny thing is that at the time of the final payment under the contract, the computer finally showed the real cost of the tour - 71 thousand rubles !!! , with a penny. With the availability of seats in the Boeing, Tas was also deceived. Despite the season, there were plenty of seats on the plane flying Monastir. According to my calculations, 15 places were not occupied. By the way, I also saw about 7 empty seats on the plane flying back!!!!
We did not like the hotel, although we did not see anything catastrophic. Tunisia is not a very rich country, from here all possible social ulcers are visible on the surface: poverty, theft on the beach, annoying hucksters. We got a decent number. For a dinar a day left on the table, we had our room cleaned quite well. The room had not only a shower, but also a bath. The food was monotonous, but quite satisfactory, if you do not eat their soup and some salads from canned vegetables. I tried the soup only once, a spoon, I almost vomited... Wine, for Tunisia, where winemaking is developed, they gave the cheapest, but three types. White, Red, Pink. This is strange, since we bought quite decent wines in the Generale store for 5 dinars (100 rubles for our money). Unpleasantly surprised by the deception with the FB system (all inclusive). For example, if you wanted to get french fries in a street restaurant, then you were required to pay 2 dinars!! ! Although pizza was given for free. And thanks for that. The beach is inconvenient, across the road from the El Hana Beach hotel... But the fact of the matter is that it lengthens your route to the citywide beach by 250 - 300 meters !!! , because you need to go through the territory of your hotel first, then cross the territory of the neighboring and only then you will get to the gate leading to the beach. In principle, the road can be crossed. Sometimes, passing cars pass you at the crossing (if civilized people are driving). The beach is dirty. Cigarette butts are long and abundantly mixed with white and fluffy sand. Everyone is invited to purchase 2 sun loungers and a parasol for 4 dinars. There are no changing rooms or showers. There are no toilets on the beach either. But every minute merchants of various junk come up to you. There are especially a lot of them near those who still glow with white skin, because. arrived recently. They are trying to sell them a penny tov, to tie a rag for 10 dinars on the head of a KhB (the red price of which is 1 dinar). When they find out about this after the purchase, it’s not so much a pity for the money (ugh, they cost 200 rubles), but the mood and sense of hospitality of the locals deteriorate. Apparently, all this shikla - a watering can is run by respectable men from a booth that gives out sunbeds and trestle beds... All this is disgusting. It's a pity for them, poor people. Sometimes, when the arrogance of young merchants and importunity go off scale, a barefoot appears from the booth and defiantly drives the merchant away from the victim he has already robbed. The East is a delicate matter... It's a pity, but despite the fact that quite normal and adequate people work in the hotel itself, I have a disgusting overall impression of the organization of affairs. I hope that someday I will go to the Mediterranean again. but not through the "Riviera" and not to such a hotel.
