My husband and I flew to Tunisia for the first and last time. Before him, they were in many countries, in some twice - so there is something to compare with. And don't think that we are very fastidious and turn our noses. It's just that this hotel really has a lot more minuses than pluses. The only and indisputable plus is that the sea is across the road and they are clean. But..... sunbeds for a fee. And this is sloppy considering the price of the hotel. For the same price, you can fly to a great 5-ku, all inclusive, in Egypt or Turkey with excellent conditions and free sunbeds. In general, we brought large beach towels with us and lay on them. They also took a beach umbrella, but it was not useful because if someone needs a shadow, then it can be easily found from paid large (stationary) umbrellas.
I don't know who liked the food a lot, but it doesn't compare with countries where all inclusive. For breakfast, like everywhere else. every day is the same. But there are plenty to choose from. Although I got tired of everything in a week. The main plus of breakfasts (for those with a sweet tooth) is that they put a whole huge bowl of real Nutella, which we spread on pancakes. Well, of course, there are eggs in different types, cheeses, vegetables. But during lunches and dinners, for delicious meat (which is fried in front of you), there is either a kilometer-long queue (and they give you 1 piece each) or almost a fight and pandemonium when they take out the pallet and put it in the rows where the dishes that you take yourself are . In short, about food - you can eat, but we didn’t see anything really tasty. Fruits were 3-4 kinds, sweet, like in a cheap Egyptian hotel (biscuits for one taste). Beer is delicious and some wine 1 was also nothing. There is no food except lunches, breakfasts and dinners. On the beach - only water (no alcohol). On the lobby and near the pool - poured.
The hotel itself is sooooo old, the sunbeds near the pool are just killer and old as the world (we never lay there - we disdained). The floor itself near the pool - some boards are half-rotten. There are 2 large slides - a couple of times I rolled down - fun.

But the worst thing is the disco in the square almost until the morning. I have never experienced such a nightmare. The fact is that they rent out a restaurant in the hotel building. And imagine when at the same time (in the evening), when more than half of the people swim, walk up and want to sleep, and the restaurant turns on music to its fullest and at the same time + - other music (and also to its fullest) includes hotel. We closed the balcony tightly, but nothing helped. The windows trembled and this hellish double music shouted over the movie, which we turned on in the room on the laptop at full volume. We turned it off because it was impossible to hear a word. We even yelled at each other if we wanted to say something, otherwise it was impossible to hear. And this bacchanalia lasted until 2-3 am (or even longer). Therefore, if you dare to go to a hotel, in no case take rooms overlooking the courtyard. Sleep won't work. In addition to this number, too, all killed. In the first room (which we changed the next day), the air conditioner was buzzing like crazy (it seemed like it was about to explode) and didn’t cool at all, but just blew air. By the way, their air conditioning system is not split, but shared by the hotel. We called the mastel (with a fight!! ), he repaired and repaired, then he ran away somewhere, then we looked for him, cursed, and in the end everything remained the same. In the morning we woke up, and we were flooded. It was dripping from the ceiling and there was a huge puddle on the floor. In general, tin. We were given a room on the street, which is also very noisy. But after this "disco" it already seemed like paradise to us. And the air conditioner was cold.
Sousse (as in other large cities) has its own Medina (an old city with a market in our opinion). We went there for a walk - very colorful. We went on excursions to the capital Tunisia (it is called as a country). There is nothing special to see: the cathedral, the same medina and a la Big Ben. Then we drove to Carthage (these ruins were also not struck), except to put a tick on ourselves from the category, we saw it. The most beautiful city (white and blue) Sidi Bou Said. Try local tea there with pine nuts, edible cacti (they are even sold in the supermarket).
The country of Tunisia itself is mostly dirty and very poor. There is a flavor and we do not regret that we went here and saw. But, it is not worth the money that is asked for it. For the same money, in Albania, for example - the conditions are awesome and the food too. Sunbeds are free, everywhere is clean and there are more sights.
Conclusion: if you want to Tunisia - choose 4 or 5. At least you can live there.
